Looking at running processes, both browser and my gps-util is still running. I would like to turn off the GPS at least. Dec 04 08:09:08 Morning Dec 04 09:02:19 pony Dec 04 12:46:26 hi all Dec 04 17:33:29 Hi all Dec 04 17:33:29 :) Dec 04 17:54:10 hi panicking Dec 04 17:54:13 * GovCon licks panicking Dec 04 18:06:00 Hi. Dec 04 18:06:20 Just had my first day where I used android on freerunner the whole day. Dec 04 18:06:22 Hi Dec 04 18:07:27 GPRS works great after reboot, but fails after it gets disconnnected the first time. Once this happened because I went out of range, but the other times it disconnected because of going to sleep or something. Dec 04 18:08:00 Could I grab some logs or something to help fix this problem? Dec 04 18:08:09 yes Dec 04 18:08:23 please because I'm in Valencia and I can't do some test Dec 04 18:10:58 What should I do? Dec 04 18:11:20 adb logcat -b radio Dec 04 18:11:38 adb logcat -b radio -d > log.txt Dec 04 18:11:47 jancona, I'm working on eclair Dec 04 18:11:52 it boots and the gsm Dec 04 18:11:54 is ok Dec 04 18:11:58 some trouble to fix Dec 04 18:12:01 with accelerometer Dec 04 18:12:08 but it is slow Dec 04 18:13:25 If you prepare an eclair branch Dec 04 18:13:32 I can push the change against ril Dec 04 18:13:37 and other thing Dec 04 18:13:38 Alright. Dec 04 18:22:37 Hummz, no, it does not contain the disconnect. Crap. Dec 04 18:23:45 I have rebooted to try to get the GPRS up, and now I have a different problem. When holding down the power button to the shutdown popup appears, Flight mode is turned on, but I cannot turn it off. Going to settings, it is turned off, but can be turned on. Dec 04 18:26:32 I activated flight mode in order to try "reset" the GPRS connection, becaus neighter that, nor the GSM registration went trough this last time I rebooted. Dec 04 18:27:22 I have now turned on flight mode in settings, and turned it off successfully again. Now the GSM is up and running, no GPRS. Dec 04 18:28:22 When starting the browser I get "No network connection. The page will continue to load after connection has been restored". The page loads from cache now. Dec 04 18:29:01 Pressing OK, and browsing gives me "Web page not available" pages. Dec 04 20:09:30 I have managed to get some proper logs from the failing gprs now. I added some empty lines where I believe the initializing of GPRS takes place. Seems to be very similar, but first one goes OK, second does not. http://pastebin.com/m434d5415 Dec 04 20:12:14 I have the full log also, but it seems it will not fit on pastebin.com Dec 04 20:12:49 http://paste2.org/ Dec 04 20:12:49 http://pastebin.ca/ Dec 04 20:15:46 http://pastebin.ca/1702249 Dec 04 20:15:58 Thanks. That worked nicely. Dec 04 20:17:14 http://pastebin.com/m62904078 <-- this is the process I used. This happens the same way every time. Dec 04 21:20:09 So, does the logs help any? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Dec 05 02:59:57 2009
