**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Sep 16 02:59:57 2009 Sep 16 14:33:26 Hi, there! I'm confused about the beagleboard demos available on the angstrom site, can anyone help me? Sep 16 14:38:56 edufelipe: goto #beagle more people there Sep 16 14:39:15 Thanks! Sep 16 16:16:36 Hi, I am working on Angstrom on Zoom2. I have been trying to load this on the LO kernel from the TI sync tree that has DSS2 support. I get some display errors. The UI doesn't load correctly, flickers few times and hangs. Has any one seen this behavior of Angstrom on any kernel with DSS2? But the same kernel works fine for Poky. Is anyone aware of how Poky and Angstrom handle the frame buffer. Any help appreciated! Do I just set this one or would there be any other related changes? Sep 16 18:36:38 gt1: its independant, but without it Angstrom will segfault Sep 16 18:36:58 gt1: so just change that the CONFIG_NEON=y and then rebuilt Sep 16 18:37:00 gt1: so just change that the CONFIG_NEON=y and then rebuild Sep 16 18:37:39 XorA: Ok, I'll rebuild the kernel after setting this up and try it Sep 16 18:38:04 gt1: thanks, I think that will fix your problem Sep 16 18:38:15 gt1: and Omars as well I guess Sep 16 18:39:02 XorA: Thanks for the hint.
