**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sat Mar 06 02:59:57 2010 Mar 06 07:57:48 !logs Mar 06 08:01:48 these are not the logs you are looking for Mar 06 08:35:33 where are the logs i am looking for? Mar 06 08:41:06 I dont think we get logged anymore Mar 06 08:41:10 I dont see ibot here Mar 06 08:41:25 * XorA doesnt even know who owns this channel to restore him Mar 06 08:41:46 heh Mar 06 08:49:28 so, im trying to interface my beagleboard (rev C4) running angstrom with a few sensors via SPI, my understanding is that the GPIO pins are exposed to userspace through sysfs, meaning they are represented as files in /dev/. which files in /dev/ are the GPIO pins though? Mar 06 08:49:47 and is there an installable spi library around? Mar 06 09:05:12 better asking in #beagle Mar 06 09:05:18 loads of hardware hackers there Mar 06 09:13:14 anyway time to be off to work Mar 06 13:36:53 Hi! I follow this http://www.linuxtogo.org/gowiki/WinCeQuickInstall but I have cursor keys doesnt work and can't select the image. Is there another way to select it? Mar 06 14:28:11 It seems I've solved that. Mar 06 16:58:39 Wich are the best ROM available for my old C700 ? Mar 06 18:28:47 evening Mar 06 18:31:37 I'm having some trouble with narcissus Mar 06 18:32:13 I click my way through the options, to the page that tells me to wait and not reload. Mar 06 18:32:24 The check marks next to the steps start popping up. Mar 06 18:32:45 But it seems to get stuck at the last item (assembling image? I don't have it on screen now.) Mar 06 18:33:20 I'm using ordinary Firefox (3.5.8, shipped with ubuntu) Mar 06 18:33:32 I've used narcissus in the past and all went ok. Mar 06 18:34:30 Is this some known issue? Narcissuss looks quite fool-proof... I just click my way through the questions. Mar 06 18:45:11 greetings Mar 06 18:49:12 Theres an issue with one of your repo files Mar 06 18:49:14 http://www.angstrom-distribution.org/feeds/2008/ipk/glibc/armv7a/base/ Mar 06 18:49:23 libgcc1_4.3.3-r1.1_armv7a.ipk Mar 06 18:49:46 invalid compressed data: crc error Mar 06 18:50:23 Trying to install enlightenment, and that lib file is nerfing the install. =\ Mar 06 18:52:56 I have the file as a result of a local build... if you trust a random stranger off IRC enough: http://linux.fjfi.cvut.cz/~zub/angstrom/ Mar 06 18:53:16 I only run "file" on it... but it should be ok Mar 06 18:53:38 alternatively just build it yourself Mar 06 18:54:41 huh, now I see different version... ok, ignore this ^ Mar 06 18:55:40 lol Mar 06 18:55:41 k Mar 06 18:56:40 Spz0: send an email to the list, I dont have a 2008 build to replace that file Mar 06 19:03:16 email sent. Mar 06 19:38:14 Think I made a mistake on that repo query. Mar 06 19:38:27 * Spz0 is kind of new to nix Mar 06 19:38:32 Heres the deal: Mar 06 19:38:48 Im trying to install enlightenment on my Archos 5. Mar 06 19:39:23 after all dependancies are downloaded, and it goes to configure -- I get a crc error. Mar 06 19:39:29 but, it still completes install Mar 06 19:39:47 I broke the dependancies down a bit. Mar 06 19:40:08 I installed efreet first, and ran into the same crc error upon configuring. Mar 06 19:40:30 still thought it was libgcc1 (because thats the last depandancy it installs before config) Mar 06 19:40:52 so I tried manually installing libgcc1 Mar 06 19:41:01 system said it was already installed and up to date. Mar 06 19:41:14 so I tried installing e-wm (enlightenment package) Mar 06 19:41:27 and the install went without a hitch -- no crc error. Mar 06 19:41:41 so Im thinking its something within efreet or its dependancies. Mar 06 19:42:30 enlightenment load up on reboot, goes to the config wizard, but there are no profiles to select from, so I cannot progress beyond that point. nerfs the OS, and I hae to reload the img file. Mar 06 19:43:02 so, being new to linux, Im a little confused, and trying to muster my way to a solution. lol **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Mar 07 02:59:57 2010
