I went to download the latest from your website but my device is not listed. It's an HP iPAQ 214. I wonder how this guy got it working? Tried to contact him with no reply. I built a task-boot filesystem from Narcissus, and I'm using my own kernel. I get the boot messages from the kernel, but I get nothing from init. No console, and no errors or anything. May 17 14:40:36 I've tried it a bunch of different ways. I set the init= kernel param correctly May 17 14:41:13 also tried the symlink from /linuxrc to /sbin/init (since the bootloader wants to use /linuxrc by default) May 17 14:41:26 Also tried having it load busybox init. May 17 14:41:30 that gave different problems May 17 14:41:49 busybox init said it couldn't mount the root fs and halted May 17 14:42:23 The kernel can definitely read the root filesystem because it can find sysvinit and busybox. May 17 21:13:43 uhm May 17 21:13:44 Strife89: I'd love to say yes... I'm one of the few people still involved with angstrom that considers those kinds of devices worth supporting May 17 21:13:51 doubt it, i got the ipaq 4350 May 17 21:14:15 and ive been strugling for months off and on. its not a big focus but when i do try stuff its never easy May 17 21:14:22 the thing iPAQs desperately need is someone to push the appropriate kernel changes to mainline May 17 21:14:40 intel xscale cpu specificly May 17 21:15:20 bluelightning, have u seen linaro? May 17 21:16:24 its hugely under documented on the angstrom site for 2 May 17 21:16:31 but i learned it May 17 21:16:32 Except for the 2007.12 .img May 17 21:16:37 Which is useless.
