Thanks Mar 28 06:40:15 bbb.io/start Mar 28 06:40:34 bbb.io/techlab Mar 28 06:42:33 Thanks Mar 28 11:17:18 Hey. As I clicked on submit proposal it was mentioned that I should submit via google on the other hand it was mentioned that I should use elinux. Mar 28 11:17:26 What to do? where ti submit? Mar 28 11:34:56 rashbirsingh : Use eLinux to discuss but the final proposal that mentors would ultimately review and base our selections on will be what you submit on Google's SoC portal. Mar 28 11:46:41 sure, I'll complete it asap Mar 28 16:10:17 gm all Mar 28 16:10:29 gm Mar 28 16:12:15 i have a question should i have use elinux first to write my proposal as listed above Mar 28 16:18:18 Yes. Write your proposal with elinux first. Mar 28 16:18:36 That way, we can comment on it outside of the GSoC system and give you better feedback. Mar 28 16:18:58 ok thanks Mar 28 16:20:19 But, make sure that you submit your proposal to the GSoC website before the deadline. Mar 28 16:21:03 Even if you are still waiting on more feedback close to the deadline, upload a draft to the GSoC site so that you can just hit "submit" on the last day. Mar 28 16:21:24 We can't help you if you miss that deadline. Mar 28 16:22:25 thanks for the sugesstions i will try to complete my proposal asap thanks Mar 28 19:55:40 Hi . I don't have a beagle board .Is there any simulation software to use for testing ? Mar 28 20:33:21 nsedrickm: i think you can buy pocket beagle its very cheap and widely available and also easy to start with . Mar 28 20:55:19 Hello, my name is Diogo, I've worked with 8051 MCUs and currently working with a STM32 board in college. I'm really interested in embedded systems and working with beagle board on an open source project. I just feel that the lack of knowledge on some subjects and having no experience in contributing to open-source makes me a not so suitable candidate. The projects that interest me the most are 'USB configfs in device Mar 28 20:55:20 tree', 'PocketBeagle Stepwise Mathematics' and 'Port am335x_pru_package to remoteproc'. I'm really confortable with C and C++ and familiar with Python but have pratically zero Linux kernel experience. I just don't know that if I can learn what I need to know to do any of those projects in time and if it is feasible. Thank you! **** ENDING LOGGING AT Fri Mar 29 02:59:57 2019
