**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sat Sep 08 02:59:58 2012 Sep 08 10:04:08 Hello! I'm using rcn-ee ubuntu 12.04 image with 3.2.24 kernel image. I've connected a webcam which is uvc compatible but I get a grey output on running guvcview... How can I fix it please? Sep 08 15:46:42 does anybody knows how to mute audio loopback in bb-xm audio card?:D Sep 08 15:47:10 I dont want to hear my own voice while talking by bb-xm based phone Sep 08 16:25:40 prolly a mixer called 'sidetone' Sep 08 16:51:53 anyone around managed to get the dbus-python bindings working? Sep 08 16:59:32 nm: need to do ./autogen.sh Sep 08 16:59:55 which now indicates i need python-dev, so installing that. Sep 08 17:12:50 It bites when you spend time trying to get stuff working only to find that only simple command takes care of it all automagically Sep 08 17:44:02 koen: gcc_4.5 continues to cause task_base_native to fail. Last we talked you'd told me to check config.log for 'unsafe' at the time I checked a config.log and found no mention of unsafe. Well I found the correct config.log and it has: Sep 08 17:44:04 warning: library search path "/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc2.11" is unsafe for cross-compilation Sep 08 18:33:44 spacecolonyone: that means it's somehow picking up that lib from your host Sep 08 19:38:41 koen: I figured that, question is why this is on a from scratch setup following the angstrom guide and using oebb.sh Sep 08 20:46:48 koen: i just noticed that nfs-utils hasn't been brought over into 2012.05. I seem to be able to bitbake it so I'll do that for now. Trying to get some nfs shares served up from my BBxM... Sep 08 21:19:42 I'm off, might be back around later Sep 08 23:29:33 anyone have any info what is wrong with cpufreq and linux 3.6? Sep 08 23:30:52 Skry: I haven't used 3.6 at all, but there exist issues at 3.2 with the BBxM. Perhaps they are similar. What going on? Sep 08 23:33:42 spacecolonyone: random iva lockups. I actually dont have beagle but nokia n900 (3430es3.1). Just noticed from RobertCNelsons git that it affects beagle too. Sep 08 23:35:15 Ah, nope, sorry. I've not seen that sort of issue. there is a smart reflex issue with setting the mph rate on the beagle that came to mind. Sep 08 23:40:13 It's cpufreq in this case, sr and other pm works rock solid. Besides random panics, cpufreq uses only 500MHz and 600MHz, and refuses to set any other speeds but does adjust voltages. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Sep 09 02:59:58 2012
