Aug 23 07:53:44 is there an spi library that uses mmap instead of spidev? Aug 23 11:54:38 can anyone help me? i cant ssh into my bbb(c) Aug 23 11:55:25 i ran the udev config, and after reboot, its now listed as enp0s29f7u3 in ifconfig Aug 23 13:27:36 Hello to all. I've followed a tutorial do disable HDMI in BBB (http://www.logicsupply.com/blog/2013/07/18/disabling-the-beaglebone-black-hdmi-cape/), because I don't use this feature and need some more GPIO pins, but after editing the file uEnv.txt, my BBB doesn't boot anymore. Is there a way to reset this file so I can boot it again? Aug 23 13:28:22 when connected to PC, it's not recognized as a usb device anymore Aug 23 13:28:51 I basicaly added the string capemgr.disable_partno=BB-BONELT-HDMI,BB-BONELT-HDMIN to the end of that file Aug 23 13:29:17 Easiest would be to flash a new image. Aug 23 13:31:38 jhn: any easiest way? :-) Aug 23 13:31:46 ok, I'll try that :-) Thx Aug 23 13:32:30 D/L, copy to uSD, insert, reboot, get a cup of tea - how much easier can it get? Aug 23 13:33:27 Of course you could try to ssh into it, or see if there is any reaction on the trminal line. Aug 23 15:45:53 sorry for my newbie question but why capemgr and not modules with linux kernel ? Aug 23 16:01:09 is there such thing as a cape that is just for stacking that gives some pin short protection ? Aug 23 16:02:52 bunch of polyfuses or something like that Aug 23 18:43:01 anyone know why i can set my beagle bone cpu speed past 720mhz? i had another distro that allowed 1ghz Aug 23 18:45:45 dogrocket: You should be able to set it with the userspace governor up to 1000MHz Aug 23 18:46:08 dogrocket: You have to take it off the ondemand governor first I think Aug 23 18:46:52 dogmatic69: boot from AC not USB Aug 23 18:46:59 dogrocket: ^^^ Aug 23 18:48:46 yeah im booted from ac... Aug 23 18:59:44 Hello, I am new to beagleboard. I have a question regarding video output Aug 23 19:00:16 Is there a way to hook the Beaglebone black to a television without hdmi? Aug 23 19:00:36 I have seen it done through composite video with arduino Aug 23 19:13:56 well there has to be a reason 2 distros show different max speeds, googling im not finding a reason, and this is roberts debian 3.16 Aug 23 19:18:33 i believe part of the problem is this may be a distro (3.16) thats originally made for beaglebone white, and so its using hardware or dtb configs that only allow 720 Aug 23 19:21:35 err beaglebone not beaglebone white Aug 23 23:24:03 Can anyone recommend a powered USB hub capable of handling 3-5 BBB or Rpi at once? Aug 23 23:55:27 anyone used the buspirate v3 with the bone black ? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Aug 24 02:59:58 2014
