**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Aug 31 02:59:59 2014 Aug 31 04:28:37 cloud9 ide is missing the Run (green play) button. I tried chrome and friefox, still no luck. Then I tried beaglebone.local:3000, which worked fine and it shows me the run (play) button, but this time it gets logged into someone else's github account. (must the be the previous owner of the board maybe). But then if I log out, it kicks me back to the Cloud9 ide main login page, and upon that loging I dont see the run button anymore. Any Aug 31 07:34:43 I'm just using my BBB for the first time and I can't seem to get it to image the eMMC. I have made the micro sd card and verified its checksum. I hold down S2 and insert the power with the card already inserted... it briefly flashes 4 lights but it never gets to the point when all 4 LEDs are illuminated for a few seconds. Aug 31 07:35:06 it does the same thing if I insert power without sdcard or pushing the button Aug 31 07:35:12 Is my BBB defective? Aug 31 07:38:33 It happily boots the current flashed OS either way Aug 31 07:41:39 Correction, if I boot the BBB with the sdcard in it will boot from that whether I'm holding down boot select button S2 or not. Can not get it to flash whatever I do though. Aug 31 09:08:23 hey, I'm using the starterware sdk to write to spi via mmap, it sorta works (probably one third of the time) .. not sure if im doing this the right way: http://pastebin.com/hcCSWAZs Aug 31 09:09:22 the main thing is, i tried using interrupts without much success (the BBB just hung itself) and I haven't tried the DMA way yet.. Aug 31 11:34:18 well I get a list of timestamps from my water flow sensor Aug 31 11:34:53 How can I run furier transform on the list and get the poles and zeros of the system? Aug 31 11:35:29 In english: I want to find the frequency of the water bounces in the pipes Aug 31 11:43:32 hello, i have to manipulate (uEnv.txt ) uboot can someone guide me to a good tutorial. i searched the web and i found articles about uBoot command but i want to know how to use them in good format in uEnv.txt file, tnx. Aug 31 14:18:42 Hello? Aug 31 15:15:50 Hey guys anyone can provide me some quick help? Aug 31 15:17:03 never ask to ask, just ask Aug 31 15:17:12 Spitso: ask the question about your issue and wait patiently for a response... Aug 31 15:27:51 How is it possible to control GPIO's using a Qt creator app? Aug 31 15:28:34 i have a BeagleBone Black and want to be able to, say, make a pin high (turn an connected LED on) Aug 31 15:30:50 Spitso: like from any other app Aug 31 15:31:40 Spitso: you can e.g. map them and then just write to the corresponding files Aug 31 15:31:59 An app running locally on the BBB. Ive cross compiled Qt to be able to deploy apps to the device Aug 31 15:32:55 im a complete rookie when it comes to Qt. Would you be able to link me to any documention? Aug 31 15:33:29 no Aug 31 15:33:48 I'm pretty sure writing to file handles is very well covered Aug 31 15:35:21 can anyone recommend a wii nunchuck library for the beaglebone black in c/c++? Aug 31 15:35:47 with that recommended way. Is it possible to read in inputs aswell? Aug 31 15:43:45 Thanks for the time/help tbr. i'll look into the suggested method Aug 31 18:41:21 Does anybody know how available the original beagleboard still is? I need to work on an OMAP3530 chip. Aug 31 18:41:48 Both avnet and mouser say they have zero stock, and factory lead time seems to be 20 weeks. Aug 31 18:42:37 KJH: If you are europe: Afaik I have seen it stock at watterott Aug 31 18:43:08 maybe jkridner knows if theyre still bein manufactured Aug 31 18:43:10 I'll go check now, thanks. Aug 31 18:50:06 OK Humpelst1lzchen, they have 2 left. Ordering. Aug 31 18:58:15 we use 3530 on our boards (still) and afaik they are still manufactured, but overly pricey Aug 31 18:58:51 can't speak to the beagleboard classic personally Aug 31 18:59:25 if you put down a massive order with CCO, they might make you some, I guess. Aug 31 20:50:35 wow, it seems the sitara e2e forum has support people who actually directly speak with people with access to chip designs... how refreshing, those on the dm814x forum don't even seem to have access to proper documentation **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Sep 01 02:59:58 2014
