**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Oct 05 02:59:58 2016 Oct 05 06:45:19 hi... i want to duplicate identical BeagleBone Black setups. for this, i am following this link: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17834561/duplicating-identical-beaglebone-black-setups now the problem is in the  initial step i.e; i have to boot bbb. When I hold boot button and supply power, bbb doesnot power on (usr leds are off) . Whereas, without booting bbb is working fine. I am not understanding this behaviour. Oct 05 06:46:01 Also, I have attached UART adapter to debug port to inspect messages. There were few errors on startup. I also resolved them but after doing all this bbb is still showing the same behaviour on boot. what should i do now? Oct 05 06:55:03 powering on with the boot button pressed bypasses eMMC. do you have a bootable microsd card inserted? Oct 05 06:58:16 yes one sd card is already inserted in bbb Oct 05 06:59:38 maybe I should rephrase: the symptoms you're describing indicate the card is not bootable Oct 05 07:00:49 oh. now? Oct 05 07:13:52 I have currently switched to the 4.4 RT kernel, and now the PRU is not working any more. I get Segmentation fault at prussdrv_pru_enable()... Oct 05 07:59:32 does anyone know how to enable rproc in 4.4 kernel? Oct 05 16:33:16 tlab: I got gpio cs to work earlier, but I dont't really think thats the problem. I would agree on zmatt, that it seems like the problem is the driver not loading irq pins as a pinmux. Oct 05 16:34:04 Pls ping me if you have any luck with the debugging output from the driver after compiling it from scratch. Oct 05 16:35:58 hello, can anyone provide some help ? Oct 05 16:36:12 Hey! Anyone know if BBone would be useful to use in running a water flow sensor?? Oct 05 16:38:27 tlab: Maybe we should send a mail to the maintainer of the driver to hear if it's broken just on beaglebone with the 4.4 kernel, or if its broken on all platforms? Oct 05 16:39:13 Hudges: You could probably have the bb run a water flow sensor, but it depends on the communication interface to the sensor. Oct 05 16:39:24 JohnC: Hey, what do you need help with? Oct 05 17:49:37 hello, does anyone knows if the latest version of BBG with Debian Jessie has some changes on uBoot? I've an image with my project that i've built using BBG with Wheezy and its not booting Oct 05 17:50:33 I'm wondering if some change in uboot, grub or so may be the caus of it Oct 05 17:53:52 hello Oct 05 17:54:10 someone there? Oct 05 19:12:32 filipemeireles: there have been changes though I'm not sure how relevant they are Oct 05 19:12:49 it shouldn't be hard to fix the image anyhow Oct 05 19:28:19 zmatt: DO you know where can I find a report about these changes? Oct 05 19:30:05 uhh, you can compare the sources I guess, although probably the most relevant differences will be in the boot script Oct 05 22:39:49 I have a BeagleBone Black and a 3.3V FTDI adapter I am trying to connect to the serial port. I fu-barred and place the board on backwards one time and now it appears the board won't boot. Any ideas on what could be wrong? Oct 05 23:08:54 do you get any lights on or anything? Oct 05 23:09:03 have you disconnected everything to try and reboot Oct 05 23:15:05 also, eMMC or uSD card? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Thu Oct 06 02:59:58 2016
