**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Thu Nov 23 03:00:02 2017 Nov 23 03:20:50 Is there other ways to interface with the BB Black hardware other than the file system? I.e. To turn on an LED you have to wriet to a text file /sys/class/leds/beaglebone:green:usr0. From my tests this is pretty slow. Is there an API or other way to access the hardware directly? My questions probably shows this but I'm a Linux and BBB noob. Nov 23 15:42:55 Hello, I just received a BeagleBone Black Wireless. I connect to it and tried to enable wifi using connmanctl and enable wifi but I get the error "Error wifi: Method SetProperty with signature "sv" on interface "net.connman.technology" doesn't exists. Nov 23 15:43:07 Somebody have an idea ? Nov 23 15:43:21 Everything looks like wifi is not present Nov 23 15:50:18 hello. Is TrustZone available on market-available AM33xx ? Nov 23 15:50:45 seems like it's not, but I'd rather have confirmation Nov 23 20:44:33 it's not Nov 23 22:11:52 hi there Nov 23 22:13:23 does anyone can help with C6657 and NDK please? Nov 24 01:12:54 Hi everyone, just wondering how feasible it is to make a beaglebone by yourself. Is there documentation on that? Nov 24 01:15:26 short answer: If you had the skills, you'd know it already. ;) Nov 24 01:15:59 long answer: If you're using the Octavo modules, the routing is within reach of the hobbyist farming out board-fab to a shop like oshpark. Nov 24 01:16:43 if you're trying to use the bare chips, but don't already know the horrors of "bga escape routing", I'd suggest googling that term. Nov 24 01:18:42 (I mean, the octavo is BGA too, but a lot of the nastier stuff is handled in-package, so handling what's left is merely challenging, not impossible.)
