**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sat Mar 02 02:59:57 2019 Mar 02 09:07:16 Hi, I'm trying to set up telecoms on the Debian side of an (original, X25) Gemini, and was wondering whether there were any more up to date instructions than https://github.com/gemian/gemini-keyboard-apps/wiki/DebuggingMobile and/or if anyone had experience with AT&T Mar 02 09:09:13 SMS/phone seem to be slightly working (I'm not clear on whether the device properly wakes up from suspend on incoming), but LTE is not working at all. I ran ./create-internet-context NXTGENPHONE since https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1218306?gsi=JqBekWrl says to use that as the APN, but trying to activate the context just results in "org.ofono.Error.Failed: Operation Mar 02 09:09:19 failed" Mar 02 09:11:55 Looking at the Ofono logs, "Requested file structure differs from SIM: 6fb7" appears in a couple of places, but it seems according to my other online searches that this may be benign Mar 02 09:12:15 However, after attaching, ofono consistently reports that "Setting Cell Broadcast topics failed" Mar 02 09:12:36 Furthermore, the manual context activations result in simply "GPRScontext: Reply failure: GENERIC_FAILURE" Mar 02 09:14:50 Attempts to enable mobile data from cmst do not lead to any ofonod logs, and report that "ErrorName: net.connman.Error.InvalidService" "Error Message: Invalid service" Mar 02 09:16:04 connmanctl connect from the command line results in a dialog box saying that "connect-failed" was returned Mar 02 09:16:20 ./activate-context and connmanctl connect both error out essentially immediately, while cmst takes a bit Mar 02 09:17:54 Any help would be much appreciated... sorry for the infodump! Mar 02 10:45:04 andromeda-galaxy: I've only tried the UK giffgaff network that 'just worked' as per the instructions you mention. The ofono/cellular stuff we are using is just borrowed from Sailfish+UBPorts, so if you have tri-boot you can see if things work there, and also nab the settings to copy back to debian? Mar 02 10:45:46 (then update the wiki with a section for the settings for your network) Mar 02 18:35:07 adam_b: okay, thanks! I don't have tri-boot at the moment, but I can lok into setting that up Mar 02 18:36:42 now is a bad time for tri-boot, they've just moved the default to dual only Mar 02 18:37:49 Ah, Mar 02 18:37:52 that's unfortuante Mar 02 19:37:54 Is there still a (non-default?) way to install Android+Debian+Sailfish? It seems at the moment that if Android is set as Boot 1 in the partition tool, Sailfish is not available anywhere else. If Sailfish is Boot 1, Debian is not availble. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Mar 03 02:59:56 2019
