Nov 29 14:49:14 <@_telegram_701506086:hacklab.fi> wearing it? Nov 29 14:51:40 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> > wearing it? Nov 29 14:51:40 yes Nov 29 14:53:42 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> I think I was pooling a penny from the ground and that was it. Cosmo was without it's skin. Nov 29 15:01:52 now you learned not to put your phone in your back pocket Nov 29 15:21:10 the CODI seems to crack virtually spontaneously Nov 29 15:37:13 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> It was about 7 month without any issue.. Do they require to send the whole unit to replace the screen? Nov 29 15:37:39 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> I remember it was discussed here a while ago... Nov 29 15:38:52 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> And, if a normal phone screen works fine with minor cracks CoDi's just displaying some crap (( Nov 29 15:47:13 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> and, the crack is not with the cover glass - it is in the screen underneath Nov 29 15:51:26 <@_telegram_888165589:hacklab.fi> ah yes, @PiecerEdd had to do that Nov 29 15:51:33 <@_telegram_888165589:hacklab.fi> (the internal screen) Nov 29 15:51:38 <@_telegram_888165589:hacklab.fi> i remember them saying to me about it... Nov 29 15:57:59 <@_telegram_701506086:hacklab.fi> i thougth Hell was talking about CoDi not the normal screen Nov 29 15:58:00 <@_telegram_701506086:hacklab.fi> but yeah Nov 29 16:17:14 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> > i thougth Hell was talking about CoDi not the normal screen Nov 29 16:17:14 CoDi, yes. But the screen is under the protective glass combined with the sensor. The crack it within the underlaying screen. It looks exactly like on old LCD from a calculator. Nov 29 16:17:32 <@_telegram_888165589:hacklab.fi> ahhhh... yes i misunderstood Nov 29 16:17:44 <@_telegram_888165589:hacklab.fi> i thought by 'the screen underneath', that was a reference to the inside screen :) Nov 29 16:23:21 <@_telegram_792211460:hacklab.fi> i hope one will be able to see the crack and the result. An hour ago the screen was able to show more lines. Now it is just several tiny bits Nov 29 16:47:17 <@_telegram_101151514:hacklab.fi> s which partition did you use to install SailfishOS? I got 3.4 booting, but now realized I use Gemian partition (mmcblk0p39) and that may be different between devices Nov 29 17:02:34 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> 43 Nov 29 17:02:47 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> 39 is the first one right? Nov 29 17:03:15 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> I'm using the last before fastboot Nov 29 17:03:16 <@_telegram_101151514:hacklab.fi> 43 is userdata? Nov 29 17:04:07 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> I think mmcblk0p43 is the boot partition for the third or fourth one, the one before fastboot Nov 29 17:04:08 got android, recovery/empty recovery 2, gemian, sfos Nov 29 17:04:34 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> is that hardcoded somewhere? Nov 29 17:05:23 <@_telegram_101151514:hacklab.fi> I mean for data/storing rootfs Nov 29 17:05:33 <@_telegram_101151514:hacklab.fi> it gets hardcoded in hybris-boot... Nov 29 17:06:17 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> it's under .stowaways/sfos under gemian, let me check which partition that is Nov 29 17:10:24 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> ls by-name shows userdata as 44 Nov 29 17:10:29 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> 39 is otp Nov 29 17:11:12 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> Debian/kde boot is on 41 Nov 29 17:11:24 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> And sfos boot on 42 Nov 29 17:12:04 <@_telegram_101151514:hacklab.fi> what is gemian rootfs partition then? 43? Nov 29 17:12:48 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> 43 shows as linux Nov 29 17:12:53 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> 44 userdata Nov 29 17:13:00 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> I guess linux is the root? Nov 29 17:13:20 <@_telegram_101151514:hacklab.fi> thanks, yes Nov 29 17:13:58 <@_telegram_991509486:hacklab.fi> Yeah, mount shows 43 as / Nov 29 22:54:08 <@_telegram_250862569:hacklab.fi> > ok, today I broke my CoDi screen )) it just cracked in my back poket when I was wearing my Cosmo. Nov 29 22:54:09 rip codi. Mine hasn't died yet. The only way that would happen is when the drawer falls out of my desk :) Nov 29 22:55:14 <@_telegram_250862569:hacklab.fi> Now I read the actual keyboard could die. Awesome. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Nov 30 03:00:00 2020
