**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Aug 15 02:59:57 2007 Aug 15 03:13:03 ugg, I got python to resize batch of images, unfortunately, it takes 3 minutes per picture off my digital camera. Comparitivalely, it takes 5 second on my laptop (700mhz, 256mb RAM) Aug 15 03:17:35 rhsanborn, im on a laptop with the exact same specs... what are you running (os wise)? Aug 15 03:18:55 It's actually a windows machine, but I threw a knoppix disc in it Aug 15 03:22:14 i wish i could boot this machine from cd Aug 15 03:22:27 the hoops i have to jump through Aug 15 03:22:37 sigh... Aug 15 03:23:12 I'm going to the Peace Corps in 6 months, and I want to use my n800 as my primary computer Aug 15 03:24:18 But resizing images is one of the things I have to do. Uploading 1.5meg images on slow connections is a pain Aug 15 03:25:08 wohoo! I just got my 770 working with my VX9800 Aug 15 03:27:14 well, its a pita cause of the no cd boot, but... Aug 15 03:27:26 this machine might be ideal. Aug 15 03:27:32 panasonic cf-m34 Aug 15 03:31:03 I wanted the n800 for the weight. If it isn't going to work, I will either get a newer HP laptop, or I might consider using web cafe computers booted to knoppix Aug 15 03:31:24 I could use those computers to convert my images and do everything else on the 800 Aug 15 03:43:27 why not upload to a remote machine and resize there? Aug 15 03:43:58 i wouldnt crunch on an n800 Aug 15 03:47:29 I need to get the pictures smaller so that they will upload in a reasonable timframe Aug 15 03:47:46 Each pic is 1.5 megs or so natiive Aug 15 03:48:05 oh Aug 15 03:48:37 hmmm reboot time. Aug 15 03:48:39 Internet connections aren't the best in rural north africa Aug 15 03:49:38 no doubt Aug 15 04:06:14 i need help Aug 15 04:06:18 i tried to avoid it Aug 15 04:06:27 but i cant figure out how to get root on this n800 Aug 15 04:06:53 i connected to it via ssh and did a change password... but i cant figure out how to get root from xterminal on the n800 Aug 15 04:07:04 sudo gainroot Aug 15 04:07:20 yea that might be my mistake... i think.. i did sudo becomeroot Aug 15 04:08:11 Also make sure you edited the gainroot script to remove the check that it is in R&D mode (unless you plan on being in R&D mode). Aug 15 04:08:11 what does the 770 do when the case is closed? turns the screen off and locks the buttons/screen, that part is obvious. anything else? cpu underclocking? etc Aug 15 04:08:16 no go Aug 15 04:08:25 password i made isnt working.. and rootme isnt working either Aug 15 04:08:36 i am in R&D modwe Aug 15 04:08:43 which i dont like... the startup isnt as pretty Aug 15 04:08:45 derf: bah, gainroot is silly. add sh to the sudoers file so that sudo -i works, the RIGHT way to get a root shell Aug 15 04:08:48 No, sudo expects you to type in the _user's_ password. Aug 15 04:08:54 Not root's. Aug 15 04:09:08 i dont have a password Aug 15 04:09:14 i dont think i do Aug 15 04:09:17 Don't look at me. Aug 15 04:09:18 sparr how do i do that Aug 15 04:09:21 i want real root Aug 15 04:09:27 sudo's never asked me for one on the N800. Aug 15 04:09:31 or i want sudo to work Aug 15 04:09:35 i need my sudo password Aug 15 04:09:36 are you root now? Aug 15 04:09:42 well i guess no Aug 15 04:09:43 t Aug 15 04:10:02 http://sparrsstuff.com/ssh_and_root Aug 15 04:10:04 sparr: I would've though the "RIGHT" way to get a root shell was su - Aug 15 04:10:07 But what do I know? Aug 15 04:10:08 i have R&D mode.. and i did some SSH thing last night witht eh password rootme and changed the password Aug 15 04:10:29 derf: no, thats the right way to become root. which is a step higher than just having a shell running as root :) Aug 15 04:10:39 setite: check out the part of that page regarding sudoers Aug 15 04:11:08 * sparr tries to do some good with his howto Aug 15 04:11:50 I guess I don't understand the distinction. Aug 15 05:14:52 or i guess i just dont know python Aug 15 06:54:32 has anyone tried to add power to an unpowered hub? Simple connect the correct lines to a +5V source? Aug 15 06:56:14 Darksmurf: I think there are lot's of articles about that for 770 host usb mode Aug 15 07:01:16 they all talk about modifying a powered usb hub to inject power back to the 770. I don't have a powered hub. There are plans for a 'power injector' it sends power up to the 770 and down to whatever device you have connected, but it doesn't talk about if you can use it with a hub. I dunno...I'm relunctant to try it in the off chance it'll kill the 770. Aug 15 07:03:04 But for the life of me I can't find a good reason for it to not work. My other option is to go buy a powered hub and do it the way everyone else is doing it. I've got a very small unpowered hub I'd love to use though. Aug 15 07:06:03 hmm.. iirc, we got and usb headset working by directly connecting to a 770 (with usb adapters). All we needed to do was to solder some batteries to the usb cable. I can't recommend that though ;) Aug 15 07:06:10 s,and,an, Aug 15 07:07:58 usb headset eh? I havn't seen mention of that anywhere. Thats basicly the power connections I want to make. Right now I'm trying to decided what functions I want..i.e. need a 5v source to power everything, but I'd like it small for when I'm using flashdrives, etc. Need to be able to put more juice in when I'm using and HD, etc Aug 15 07:09:43 nokia770hacks.com hmm..I've never seen that site before Aug 15 07:13:25 Darksmurf: you coul in that case "just" cut the power wire from the nokia to the hub Aug 15 07:16:30 hmm... the only thing I can see 'wrong' is that when the USB hub is queried by the USB host chip inside the 770 it'll say it is an unpowered hub. The 770 may know that it can't supply the current needed and *could* turn the hub off...or it may assume that since it is working it can supply the 500ma to the hub. Because no power is being pulled from the 770 there is no chance of pulling too much. I wonder if the 770 c Aug 15 07:17:28 " I wonder if the 770 c" Aug 15 07:17:40 don't write that much :) Aug 15 07:17:45 pulled from whatever psu I use...it may just work 'normal' then? The more I think about it I can't see a reason it wouldn't be OK to use an unpowered hub (assuming I inject power on the 5v lines) Aug 15 07:18:55 "I wonder if the 770 chip can tell how much is being" rest is in next comment. Aug 15 07:19:09 the 770 is of course "used" to have 5 volt on the usb when it's in device mode so I would also not expect problems with that Aug 15 07:20:40 yeah, as I understand it there are no power connections to the usb chip inside the 770. It ONLY gets power from the usb host. Aug 15 07:20:59 I need to hit the sack, thanks for letting me bouce ideas off you..gnight. Aug 15 07:35:08 Hey, does anyone get /scratchbox/tools/bin/sh: line 1: /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure: No such file or directory or similar while doing apt-get upgrades ? seems this dpkg-preconfigure binary missing and i didnt find any package that would provide it .. Aug 15 07:45:33 Is anyone else annoyed that the rss feed links go to the maemo site and not to the actual blogs? Aug 15 07:46:07 I was just trying to read the xv and mplayer on maemo post and clicked on the rss link. Aug 15 07:46:14 I ended up on this page: http://maemo.org/news/planet-maemo/view/f23737ab1c6a643450e192310026bd71.html Aug 15 07:47:04 And the post is crippled (contains only the first paragraph). Thus I would like to navigate to the actual post. But there is no link to the actual post on maemos view post screen. Aug 15 07:47:28 I had to go to the http://maemo.org/news/planet-maemo/ page to be able to click on the link to the actual post. Aug 15 07:47:41 konttori: yes Aug 15 07:47:47 ah. they are syndicating the blog descriptions and linking only to them.. that i can understand but not that the description doesnt link to the source. Aug 15 07:48:00 any chance that Nokia could AT LEAST add the post link to the show post view as well? Aug 15 07:48:40 I'm reading the maemo planet with google reader and it sure is annoying that the link goes to maemo.org instead of the real blog.. Aug 15 07:49:07 Anyway, I feel a bit uneasy about the rss feed linking to maemo site as well. Aug 15 07:49:19 Yeah Aug 15 07:50:33 maybe i can ask someone here.. Aug 15 16:36:01 hi cptvitamin - the kagu master was here a 1/2 hour ago Aug 15 16:36:04 what is your problem Aug 15 16:47:41 pupnik - I was a successful user of Kagu before and I went to upgrade. The install process seems to work fine but at the end I get a message that it could not be installed. Its listed in my installed apps but the status is 'broken'. Aug 15 16:56:05 is there a way to get svn diff to list full paths instead of just relative paths in the header section of its output? Aug 15 16:56:08 oops Aug 15 16:59:11 sorry, trevarthan Aug 15 16:59:18 i missed your message yesterday Aug 15 16:59:35 i'm reading some of the code that he found Aug 15 16:59:45 i can see how/why he was able to suggest it Aug 15 16:59:53 unfortunately, there's a hole in my xref Aug 15 17:00:00 i don't have the file that defines those strings Aug 15 17:00:06 i could get it, i suppose Aug 15 17:00:52 * timeless does a brute force search for nokia.mce Aug 15 17:00:58 http://pupnik.de/wormux_menu.png Aug 15 17:01:24 on the offchance, anyone here know much about svn? Aug 15 17:04:00 it's possible it's so lame that it can't Aug 15 17:04:02 since you could use --diff-cmd if it can Aug 15 17:04:05 it would seem stupid Aug 15 17:04:13 oh, you mean diff, not svn diff Aug 15 17:04:15 um Aug 15 17:06:17 doesn't look like it can Aug 15 17:07:28 timeless: no Aug 15 17:07:49 kulve: that was to my "did you file a bug?"? Aug 15 17:07:51 lardman|gone: it's doing something (wrong). Aug 15 17:24:06 no Aug 15 17:24:14 i just got it running Aug 15 17:25:14 are you n800 owners ok with apps installing game data to /media/mmc1/games/ ? Aug 15 17:25:58 i am, but you better tell me when the installer runs Aug 15 17:26:07 arguably better is a folder picker that defaults there Aug 15 17:26:19 pupnik, will it run on mameo 2.0 ? Aug 15 17:26:23 pupnik: ask. I might prefer mmc2 Aug 15 17:26:28 * monteslu is a lowly 770 owner Aug 15 17:26:48 it might be too slow for 770 monteslu - it's still crashing on game start Aug 15 17:26:52 <`0660> i'd rather have it in mmc2 Aug 15 17:26:58 ok i'll write an installer with dialog Aug 15 17:45:32 disq: poke Aug 15 17:59:46 pupnik: just an ogg parser or do you want a decoder for some codec too?-) Aug 15 18:02:31 well libvorbisidec as a dsp-sink Aug 15 18:02:43 decoding ogg takes up about 12% cpu on 770 Aug 15 18:03:01 you mean vorbis? Aug 15 18:03:12 yeah ogg vorbis :) Aug 15 18:03:19 ogg is just a container Aug 15 18:03:23 i know Aug 15 18:03:31 ogg is a container, vorbis is the co[dec] Aug 15 18:04:12 unfortunately nokia do not give us info on how to build dsp sinks Aug 15 18:04:23 i wish i could try kagu Aug 15 18:04:25 * pupnik launches a dead cow over the castle wall Aug 15 18:05:03 anyone got a clue on fixing the bug with the package? Aug 15 18:09:44 try installing package with dpkg -i Aug 15 18:19:19 still fails to configure Aug 15 18:19:22 and by configure i mean run Aug 15 18:19:29 the postinst script runs kagu-scanner Aug 15 18:19:33 and that fails with a python syntax error Aug 15 18:20:15 so hacker can be installed by just downloading the fiasco image and flashing it with nokia update wizard? Aug 15 18:22:00 solmumaha: yep. Aug 15 18:22:06 k, thx Aug 15 18:22:24 i wouldnt suggest it though... im halfway between power-user and dev, and the state of packages on hacker edition just wasnt comfortable for me Aug 15 18:22:51 oh Aug 15 18:24:04 how is stability? Aug 15 18:24:43 i'm making it a navigator, not installing that much stuff on it Aug 15 18:26:22 well i can always reflash back Aug 15 18:27:10 stability was slightly worse than 2.2 Aug 15 18:27:17 and yeah, you can just flash back Aug 15 18:27:25 it was an enlightening experiment to try it for a few days Aug 15 18:29:20 well i have n800 too, just got 770 today Aug 15 18:32:34 actually 5 of them, hope i wasn't the one with wsod Aug 15 18:33:18 agree on the stability Aug 15 18:33:46 pupnik, et al https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1831 Aug 15 18:33:49 how does that read? Aug 15 18:34:37 * pupnik blinks at all the text Aug 15 18:34:38 * timeless curses Aug 15 18:34:50 i need to actually check out this entire thing? Aug 15 18:35:26 so this is a patch you made to Index: mozilla/trunk/microb-l10n/l10n2/da/locale/da/global/about.dtd? Aug 15 18:40:06 pupnik: let's for try to get a vorbis decoder working in the DSP side. Once we have that and it seems to be efficient enough, we can try get it directly using the audio stuff on dsp.. Aug 15 18:40:24 currently there's nothing open source running on the dsp side.. Aug 15 18:42:58 should we mail to the vorbis guys asking if they have any dsp implementations of it? Aug 15 18:43:10 The 3.2 sdk relase did not have a rootstrap anymore right? Aug 15 18:43:12 or would it be possible to dumbly compile vorbisidec c code? Aug 15 18:56:16 so, did anyone read my bug? :) Aug 15 18:57:15 pupnik: http://wiki.xiph.org/index.php/Tremor Aug 15 18:58:51 i read it timeless and understood it not Aug 15 18:59:02 ? :(~ Aug 15 18:59:05 what part didn't make sense? I'd like to see it. Aug 15 19:21:50 in the bug Aug 15 19:22:02 where did you file a bug? Aug 15 19:22:24 on the kagu tracker on garage Aug 15 19:22:28 Is there working PIM software for the 770? Aug 15 19:23:01 nice. I got no email, no nothing. Aug 15 19:23:31 * GreySim knows of GPE and Pimlico, but is praying there is something else. Aug 15 19:24:07 * trevarthan smacks disq around a bit Aug 15 19:25:50 sparrw: I don't know what the hell that is. Doesn't look like a backtrace. segfault. why would a python app segfault? You on an n800 or a 770? Aug 15 19:26:37 (Reason being, GPE seems to be riddled full of bugs, and Pimlico doesn't even have Contacts on the 770, and the other apps are still a bit immature.) Aug 15 19:27:21 * trevarthan pokes sparrw Aug 15 19:35:50 And by immature, I mean things like Dates not handling recurring events. Aug 15 19:56:54 lardman|gone: I think I got the encoding working, but the dsp task seems to get stuck very quickly (like 0.5secs) Aug 15 20:01:53 what would cause an app not to start from the menus? Aug 15 20:02:06 as far as I can tell I made the .desktop and .service files correctly.. Aug 15 20:03:07 the odd thing is that I if I run it from the terminal, and then run it from the menu, it immediately switches to the app Aug 15 20:04:00 1 sec, I might know. Aug 15 20:05:12 it does the same thing in scratchbox too Aug 15 20:05:26 Justin: Maybe this? http://maemo-hackers.org/wiki/MaemoFaq/ApplicationDiesShortlyFromMenu Aug 15 20:05:35 hmm Aug 15 20:06:01 well it doens't die, it never starts.. but that does sound close Aug 15 20:06:21 I am not using osso in the app, so that must be it Aug 15 20:07:55 * GreySim definitely doesn't have a clue beyond that. Aug 15 20:09:47 Anyone know if MicroB extensions can(/will be able to) use dbus? Aug 15 20:10:50 * GreySim knows nothing about it, being on a 770 and all. Aug 15 20:21:07 lardman|gone: I wonder if I should use global ip_bufs instead of a private one.. Aug 15 20:23:01 Does anyone know which signal is emitted when I lift the stylus off the screen when it's top of a widget? I want to supress it Aug 15 20:23:58 Or if someone knows how to supress the automatic focus hilight from buttons Aug 15 20:29:02 Jaffa: =) Aug 15 20:34:53 Kree! Aug 15 20:35:02 (Or how do you spell it?) Aug 15 20:39:49 procto, msg me Aug 15 20:43:44 procto, mike!!! Aug 15 20:49:00 here's something i don't understand - xomap seems to have shm Aug 15 20:49:03 "Using the MIT-SHM extension " Aug 15 20:49:35 since this game can do xlib+shm, it should be way faster than going through sdl Aug 15 20:49:36 Mikho: ooh, I know how to do that...using gtk right? Aug 15 20:49:37 does anyone know who is the IDEA developer? Aug 15 20:50:05 Mikho: button.set_focus_on_click(False) Aug 15 20:50:07 he was in this channel a few months ago i think - logs should show it Aug 15 20:50:22 I love the IDEA, but I would also like it to love ukmp. For some reason it won't open ukmp. Aug 15 20:57:13 disq? Aug 15 20:57:14 <_Monkey> it has been said that disq is correct, although having a linux pc (even a live cd distro) is a lot, lot easier and more useful in the long run Aug 15 20:57:15 * sparrw cries Aug 15 20:57:24 _Monkey: forget disq Aug 15 20:57:25 <_Monkey> sparrw: I forgot disq Aug 15 20:58:06 trevarth1n: im on a 770. the [: ==: thing is a python syntax error Aug 15 20:58:53 the segfault might be dpkg dying after kagu bails Aug 15 21:02:17 sparrw: actually, the [: ==: thing is an ash syntax error. Aug 15 21:02:27 orly Aug 15 21:02:37 very good to know Aug 15 21:02:58 it happens when kagu[-scanner] is run alone, too Aug 15 21:03:04 without the postinst script involved Aug 15 21:03:22 tracking it down could prove fun, i couldnt find that string anywhere i thought to look Aug 15 21:03:24 ok. let me check something Aug 15 21:03:43 I don't own a 770, so debugging is difficult, but I'll see what I can do. Aug 15 21:04:43 sparrw: I think this is the problem: https://www.guardiani.us/projects/kagu/browser/trunk/bin/kagu-scanner Aug 15 21:05:49 lets find out :) Aug 15 21:05:58 sparrw: can you edit /usr/bin/kagu-scanner and add an 'x' before each variable in that file in the if statement, like this? "x$?" == "x20" Aug 15 21:06:13 i commented out the check Aug 15 21:06:17 and now it installs and scans just fine Aug 15 21:06:50 same problem in /usr/bin/kagu Aug 15 21:06:56 don't comment it out. Aug 15 21:07:02 change it as I suggested. Aug 15 21:07:03 <_Monkey> trevarthan: that doesn't look right Aug 15 21:07:19 sparrw: I'm getting my info from here: http://www.busybox.net/lists/busybox/2006-April/020783.html Aug 15 21:07:47 * trevarthan spanks _Monkey Aug 15 21:08:26 adding x's didnt help Aug 15 21:09:47 sparrw: change it to this: "x$?" = "x20" Aug 15 21:09:49 <_Monkey> trevarthan: that doesn't look right Aug 15 21:09:52 just one = sign Aug 15 21:10:17 No matter what I do, no matter what signals I disable, the button over which I lift the stylus always activates Aug 15 21:10:28 hey, kagu is running Aug 15 21:10:29 huzzah Aug 15 21:10:38 now ill try without the x's Aug 15 21:10:46 no, leave em Aug 15 21:10:49 they're fine Aug 15 21:11:12 I'll commit the fixes and get disq to roll a release when he gets a chance. Aug 15 21:11:35 is kagu supposed to be mostly nonfunctional if i have no media? Aug 15 21:12:00 all ive got is the repeat button (which i can toggle), and exit Aug 15 21:14:54 sparrw: yeah. no media, nothing to do Aug 15 21:15:10 :( Aug 15 21:15:18 :) what were you expecting? Aug 15 21:15:18 even an icon to indicate that would be handy Aug 15 21:15:27 i dunno, a bunch of buttons i cant use :) Aug 15 21:15:31 an empty file browser Aug 15 21:15:32 something Aug 15 21:15:33 <_Monkey> i guess something is wrong with the compilation Aug 15 21:15:40 _Monkey: forget something Aug 15 21:15:41 <_Monkey> sparrw: I forgot something Aug 15 21:15:43 Yeah, we've got a ticket for that. "No Media Found" Aug 15 21:15:54 sure, that works Aug 15 21:16:03 Here's the SVN fix for that 770 bug: https://www.guardiani.us/projects/kagu/changeset/411 Aug 15 21:16:51 I'm not sure when we'll roll another release. Might wait until Sunday. We don't have that many 770 users. Aug 15 21:16:57 i like that svn/diff browser Aug 15 21:17:12 Trac? Yeah. It's the reason why I love SVN. Aug 15 21:17:46 how does kagu find album covers? Aug 15 21:17:52 i mean, how does it know the name of the album? Aug 15 21:18:13 trevarthan: so, how different was the syntax sp3000 gave you from the one you contrived based on my info? Aug 15 21:18:33 sparrw: ID3 tags Aug 15 21:18:52 gotcha Aug 15 21:18:58 timelyx: well, the keys are completely different. Aug 15 21:19:19 sparrw: We don't support non ID3 media yet. We've got a ticket for that too. Aug 15 21:19:40 http://rafb.net/p/Hb9Tjj29.txt Aug 15 21:19:45 now it crashes Aug 15 21:19:54 timelyx: I don't have access to any code, header files, or anything for dsme, so I can't guess, you know? Aug 15 21:20:16 * timelyx nods Aug 15 21:20:27 can you just pastebin the two commands you tried so i can stare at them? Aug 15 21:20:32 i don't have access atm either :) Aug 15 21:20:45 sparrw: looks like you don't have some of the dbus stuff we use. Aug 15 21:21:20 very possible Aug 15 21:21:34 sparrw: I don't think we've tested for the 770 in a release or two. Looks like we've added some incompatible things. Aug 15 21:21:41 :( Aug 15 21:21:46 think 1.03 would work for me? Aug 15 21:22:12 trevarthan: how about TypeError: Invalid rectstyle argument? i think that's the problem Aug 15 21:22:17 oh, hi. Aug 15 21:23:50 disq: hey. :) Aug 15 21:24:03 heh, NOW he shows :) Aug 15 21:24:49 sparrw: did kagu-scanner run successfully? Aug 15 21:24:53 yes Aug 15 21:25:36 odd that kagu tries to import cdrom and joystick, are those used on other platforms? Aug 15 21:26:10 im trying 1.0.4 now Aug 15 21:26:18 sparrw: it doesn't try to import them. pymaemo's pygame implementation does that. It's odd that *it* tries to import them. Aug 15 21:26:31 1.0.4 works for me Aug 15 21:26:35 well, I guess we do try to import them Aug 15 21:26:40 sparrw: really? Aug 15 21:26:54 well, with the one exception that kagu-scanner doesnt launch kagu like it should/claimsto... but it otherwise runs great Aug 15 21:26:59 grabbed an album cover, now i can listen Aug 15 21:27:04 should it support ogg? with mogg installed? Aug 15 21:27:13 no. not implemented. Aug 15 21:27:20 wanna add it? Aug 15 21:28:43 whats there to add? with mogg osso can play them, no? Aug 15 21:28:59 also, quirk... ~100x100 pixel black box in the bottom right corner Aug 15 21:29:08 sparrw: scanner support. Aug 15 21:29:24 oggs don't have ID3s. how does that work? (I don't know) Aug 15 21:29:36 they have their own tag system... maybe ill submit a patch Aug 15 21:29:48 sparrw: Also, mplayer.py needs to be modified to support ogg. Aug 15 21:30:00 sparrw: I'd love you forever if you did. :) Aug 15 21:30:58 alright. gotta commute home. back on later tonight. laters peeps. Aug 15 21:31:06 ttyl Aug 15 21:35:02 Ok, maybe an easier question... how do I get rid of focus from GtkWidgets? Aug 15 21:53:30 new version of freesci sierra game interpreter with improved (non-glitchy) sound support coming! http://pupnik.de/Freesci_maemo_xkbd.png Aug 15 22:06:21 no sparr in here worries me Aug 15 22:06:29 my box at home has suffered some catastrophy Aug 15 22:06:31 e Aug 15 22:39:44 hola Aug 15 22:39:50 lo :) Aug 15 22:42:49 "hola" too, from Barcelona ;) Aug 15 22:43:09 disq / trevarthan: how does kagu 'play' songs? Aug 15 22:43:27 does it launch the osso media stuff, or send dbus messages, or what? Aug 15 22:44:13 sparr: osso player plays via dbus messages (sends dbus messages to osso-media-server and tracks status) Aug 15 22:46:16 how different is 1.0.5 from 1.0.4? Aug 15 22:46:30 since i cant use 1.0.5, any patches i make will be against 1.0.4 Aug 15 22:47:06 completely unrelated Aug 15 22:47:10 ssh root@192.168.0.8 Aug 15 22:47:10 root@192.168.0.8's password: Aug 15 22:47:10 stdin: is not a tty Aug 15 22:47:11 wtf? Aug 15 22:47:51 1.0.5 is in fact all the changes in trunk minus the enqueue file in playlist support Aug 15 22:48:17 are the changes severe enough that my patches against 1.0.4 would be unusable? Aug 15 22:48:21 some scrollwidget fixes and postinst script fixes Aug 15 22:48:38 i can't tell without knowing what you've been working on Aug 15 22:48:48 nothing, yet Aug 15 22:49:02 i suggest you install svn and work on the latest trunk? why not do that?
