From my message to support@qicent.cc : usually I have to press the button on the end of the hub twice to power off and back on the hub after I connect a new device to the hub before the hub will enable the newly connected device.  On the other brands of USB hubs I have, a newly connected device is enabled as soon as it is connected without having to do anything special.
May 14 03:42:14 <brolin_empey> F(x)tec finally replied to my email about the removability of the battery of the Pro1: they said “the battery will not be removable”.  Sucks.  I largely lose interest in their product because of this.
