**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Fri Nov 16 02:59:58 2007 Nov 16 14:57:53 Hello Nov 16 14:59:06 I'm trying to flash my slug with upslug2, so I put it into upgrade mode (I did it correctly, 100% sure) but upslug2 says that there are no slugs in upgrade mode. If I ping my network in broadcast I indeed can see a new IP, and nmapping it confirms that it's my slug. Can anyone help? Nov 16 16:53:29 Hello, I'm right when I run upslug2 I need to have a img file specified or just run the file ? Nov 16 16:53:35 sudo upslug ? Nov 16 17:09:02 sudo upslug2 will report on the devices it finds that are in upgrade mode. Nov 16 17:09:40 sudo upslug2 -i -t will download and flash the image file to the device specified by the mac-addr. Nov 16 17:11:15 ok Nov 16 17:11:41 so sudo -i unslung-6.8.beta.bin -t mac adress ? Nov 16 17:11:51 sudo upslug2 Nov 16 17:15:21 mwester So "sudo upslug2 -i Unslung-6.8-beta.bin -t " Nov 16 17:15:25 ? Nov 16 17:43:21 Varazir[NA]: Start by sudo upslug2 and see what the mac address is - does that work? Nov 16 17:43:52 Then once you have the mac address as reported by upslug2, then you can do the sudo upslug2 -i -t " Nov 16 23:33:04 mwester: it worked great, can I update the firmware that way to or should I do it in another way ?
