**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Aug 10 02:59:57 2008 Aug 10 09:39:27 Hi, I'm running gallery2 on a nslu2, slugos using lighttpd as web server. memory_limit is set to 16M. The problem I have is that the gallery (tried another gallery as well which is more lightweight as well) is running really slow. Aug 10 09:40:23 Is the data amount to big for an NSLU2 to host this kind of pages, is the memory consumption providing som much image data to the clients too big for the slug or do you think i've configured something wrong? Aug 10 09:46:18 bear try mem lim 8-10 ? Aug 10 09:47:17 tired 8 in the beginning but wouldn't it increase performace letting php use more memory? Aug 10 09:47:37 tried Aug 10 10:04:31 Can somebody seee if they recognize the boot sequence for my NSLU2 and see if they can identify my problem? My NSLU2 refuses to be available on the network, even after reflashing with stock firmware via UpSlug2. Boot sequence: 10 seconds of amber Ready/Status, followed by 20 seconds of blinking green, then it beeps once and goes to solid green. Ethernet LED is solid green through all this. Aug 10 10:04:50 I haven't managed to find this described in the wiki or FAQs Aug 10 10:05:26 UpSlug2 seems to have worked just fine though, just didn't change the behaviour :/ Aug 10 11:43:39 notflipmo. first issue if to look so you connect to correct ip.have you tried 192.168.1.77? if you have a router try to set macadress on your slug to a ip.macadress is found on the unit and reboot Aug 10 11:49:23 yep, tried .77, both via router and via a direct connection with a crossed cabl Aug 10 11:49:56 your second reccomendation is confsing though :) Aug 10 11:50:01 confusing Aug 10 11:51:58 a static lease? Aug 10 11:58:01 yep Aug 10 11:58:59 but off course it depends on your slugsetup and lansetup Aug 10 12:01:20 slug setup SHOULD be stock, as it's flashed with the stock firmware and reset Aug 10 12:01:48 and my LAN is set up for 192.168.1.* 255.255.255.0 Aug 10 12:02:02 slug never shows up in the device list though, on the router Aug 10 12:04:46 and the startup beep makes me think something is wrong, since it isn't described anywhere in the user guide Aug 10 12:20:40 notflipmo mount your disk on another machine and look at the relevant files and change them Aug 10 12:21:49 Ext2Fsd works for me with vista, if you use windows. Aug 10 17:06:06 no disks mounted, it Aug 10 17:06:26 's ruinning stock firmware, none of the non-linksys variants Aug 10 23:25:57 hi there! Aug 10 23:26:45 I was wondering whether NSLU2 Linux could be applied to my Codetex 1618 based NAS **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Aug 11 02:59:57 2008
