Oct 08 01:21:02 <mwester> in order to reformat the disk if the linksys nslu2 won't do it, you need to put the disk on another system, and repartition and format it back to a single-partition disk, with either NTFS or FAT on it -- that way Linksys will recoognize it as a normal disk/usb stick and reformat it.

Oct 08 02:51:53 <mwester> telnet is just a network connection to a login session on the remote system; use the command to delete files suitable for that remote system.  (in the case of the NSLU2, it's a Linux command shell, the command is "rm <filename>" for "remove" I presume)
