Oct 19 10:08:18 ;_; Oct 19 10:13:36 Mysterious: Nope, I did the network installation I think. Oct 19 10:13:56 well... Oct 19 10:14:17 I thought that I could give the network installation another chance Oct 19 10:14:42 but after flashing my nslu didn't boot correctly Oct 19 10:15:38 It stopped after all lights were on Oct 19 10:21:18 Kvaks: But your Debian is working well? Oct 19 10:24:08 hm Oct 19 10:24:50 I installed some other fimeware before i reflashed with the debian installer... Is it ok to do so? Oct 19 10:30:15 This seems to be a very helpful channel Oct 19 10:53:04 >:< Oct 19 10:54:05 This is <.> Oct 19 10:54:27 DerGraf_irssi Oct 19 10:55:13 You speak German, don't you? Oct 19 10:59:36 . Oct 19 11:00:58 p - it Oct 19 11:00:59 pit Oct 19 11:01:09 3+3=6 Oct 19 11:01:12 :O Oct 19 11:01:15 -.- Oct 19 11:06:46 YOU SUCK Oct 19 19:30:00 hello Oct 19 19:31:43 why there is no armel in http://www.emdebian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/ is it a sign the support will be dropped for nslu2 ? Oct 19 19:44:12 it's arm and armeb AFAIK -- armel is obsolete as a designator Oct 19 19:44:55 Isn't Debian LE on all platforms? I don't ever recall seeing an armeb Debian. Oct 19 19:53:29 ok let's pray so this hardware keeps been supported Oct 19 19:54:27 I love mine under squeeze as of today Oct 19 19:55:19 except for the fact that I can not use to compile the lastest kernel Oct 19 19:57:04 There's been no hint that Debian would stop supporting the NSLU2, and we have no intentions for SlugOS to end support either. Oct 19 19:57:32 i guess once armel is totaly dropped I will have to reinstall with armeb or their will be ways to migrate ? Oct 19 19:57:48 you misunderstand me, I think. Oct 19 19:58:00 armel is a name that is no longer used; armel == arm Oct 19 19:58:29 so instead of ARCH=armel and ARCH=armeb, there is now ARCH=arm and ARCH=armeb Oct 19 19:58:49 ok sorry Oct 19 20:02:45 ok tomorrow i shall try to cross compile again the lastest kernel Oct 19 20:03:36 If you are working with Debian, then you might consider asking the arm-debian folks for assistance, should you need any (they hang out on a different IRC channel; see the wiki for that location). Oct 19 20:05:31 thanks good night guys Oct 19 22:41:25 Hello Oct 19 22:42:01 Is someone here to help me Oct 19 22:45:27 hey Oct 19 22:45:36 everybody listen Oct 19 22:45:41 help me Oct 19 22:53:59 No. We suck, remember? Besides, people gave you suggestions, which you won't follow. Oct 20 00:10:34 sorry for saying that Oct 20 00:10:50 but i have been sitting here for days Oct 20 00:11:26 tryong to make my nslu work with: debian and also with unslung Oct 20 00:11:35 without any success Oct 20 00:11:48 It's driving me mad :/ Oct 20 00:13:59 And every time i connect to this irc chat nobody is avaiable Oct 20 00:20:25 i use slugos Oct 20 00:23:27 Once again, if you are looking for help with Debian, you are probably in the wrong place - the debian on NSLU2 folks don't seem to hang out here; they have a debian-arm IRC channel elsewhere (listed in the wiki). And you've not said anything about Unslung AFAIK. Not to mention that Debian and Unslung are the two extreme endpoints on the scale; about as far apart as one can get -- as many people here have said, SlugOS is probably a better b Oct 20 00:23:27 et if you want help here. Oct 20 00:23:52 But I have to go now. Oct 20 00:33:58 ok i see Oct 20 00:49:57 Thank you for your patience and excuse me for me behaviour **** ENDING LOGGING AT Tue Oct 20 02:59:57 2009
