I was specifically wanting to know if there what limitations there are with the USB ports in regard to USB Hubs and USB printers, as I remember there being limitations with the UNSLUNG firmware, i'm assuming these limitations are removed with Debian? Feb 13 17:19:53 USB ports become standard USB ports when using Debian or SlugOS. Feb 13 17:20:36 so any combination of hubs and peripherals would work? Excellent! Feb 13 17:23:01 Hi guys , it's ok here for some optware infos? Feb 13 17:24:15 DrunkDwarf, I recommend SlugOS over Debian, though. Compare carefully, and consider how you will recover when the inevitable "it won't boot now what?" happens. Feb 13 20:54:35 I'm running nslu2 on a atom based x86 synology diskstation 411+ and tcpdump crashes with tcpdump: pcap_loop: corrupted frame on kernel ring mac offset 48 + caplen 228 > frame len 128 Feb 13 20:54:54 Is there anything that I can do to fix/help the situation? Feb 13 21:56:55 nslu2 isn't an operating system Feb 13 22:00:59 I will rephrase later, thanks. Feb 13 22:24:34 I suspect that he means optware... Feb 13 22:25:43 heh Feb 13 22:27:40 optware sounds right. **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Feb 14 02:59:57 2011
