**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Oct 31 02:59:57 2007 Oct 31 03:06:23 quite big earthquake Oct 31 03:06:41 probably 6.5 in bay area Oct 31 03:09:21 * mwester goes to turn on the news Oct 31 03:19:35 ok, http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/Quakes/nc40204628.php magnitude 5.6 Oct 31 03:27:38 It just ain't right when the earth stops behaving in a proper "solid" way, you know... Oct 31 03:28:02 This mid-westerner never feels comfortable when visiting the "shakey" coast. Oct 31 03:28:25 Everything standing upright and nothing broken at your house, eno? Oct 31 03:29:59 everything's ok, have a few picture frames dropped from shelf Oct 31 03:30:29 but all slugs withstood the earthquake! Oct 31 03:31:14 :D Oct 31 03:32:12 more importantly everyone's fine Oct 31 03:56:49 eno: you have earthquake rated slugs? Oct 31 03:58:11 yeah! slugs surviving quakes Oct 31 04:01:19 * mwester imagines metal straps bolting the slug's case to the little plastic foot... Oct 31 12:37:19 anyone thought about KAID in the optware feeds? source can be found here: http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/binary/kaid-7.0.0.7-src.tar.gz Oct 31 15:50:49 03bzhou * r7219 10optware/trunk/make/py-weatherget.mk: py-weatherget: 0.3.2 -> 0.4.0.1 Oct 31 18:23:55 03bzhou * r7220 10optware/trunk/ (3 files in 2 dirs): xmlrpc-c: added, still WIP Oct 31 22:06:45 03bzhou * r7221 10optware/trunk/ (Makefile sources/xmlrpc-c/Makefile.config.in.patch): xmlrpc-c: promoted Oct 31 22:36:42 03bzhou * r7222 10optware/trunk/make/classpath.mk: classpath: 0.96 -> 0.96.1 Oct 31 23:40:53 Python24 and Python25 both contain a bug. When the ipk gets build, the path to $TARGETCC (and some others) gets hardcoded into several files. When native building some python apps, it looks for mipsel-linux-uclibc-gcc at that location instead of in /opt/bin, thus doesn't find it. The only solution I found so far, is replacing 'path to $TARGETCC' with '/opt/bin' in /opt/lib/python2.#/config/Makefile . Oct 31 23:41:42 in that same file, ' $STAGING_DIR/opt/lib' should be replaced by '/opt/lib' Oct 31 23:42:42 rgerrits: thx for reporting, i'll fix it when i got time Oct 31 23:43:38 both .mk files also have a lot of PATH=..... statement, that seem useless... Oct 31 23:44:27 ok Oct 31 23:46:39 Do you also have a planning for moving over the feeds that aren't fed atm? Oct 31 23:47:01 ds101g have been re-opened Oct 31 23:47:19 there is some problem with oleg feed Oct 31 23:47:29 it's not self contained enough Oct 31 23:48:08 to build firmware-oleg, 1) it requires an specific older version of make Oct 31 23:48:27 2) it requires wl500g toolchain installed in /opt Oct 31 23:48:47 i guess you want oleg feed? Oct 31 23:48:54 yep.... Oct 31 23:49:54 Why dont you demote firmware-oleg.mk, so that it altleast builds the rest of de packages? Oct 31 23:50:12 i can certainly do that Oct 31 23:50:25 in fact, everything else builds Oct 31 23:50:47 maybe with one more package that depends on firmware-oleg Oct 31 23:51:53 it's lirc Oct 31 23:52:54 I think most people don't use the firmware from the feed, but dowload the file that Oleg provides. Or is that the same? Oct 31 23:53:18 i don't know since i don't use this feed Oct 31 23:54:30 Perhaps Oleo can shed some light on it, cause he's the one who made that package...
