I can see qt4 related recipes in openembedded folder, how do i re Feb 17 09:35:17 mornin Feb 17 09:51:48 oops6_4: I see the qt4 recipes, but none named qt4_4.x.y.bb, I do see qt4-embedded though, which I would try to use instead of just qt4 Feb 17 09:52:52 mertsas: well how can I make sure that qt4-embedded points to qt4.7 ? Feb 17 09:54:03 mertsas: you have multitech corecdp-2.0.2 with you ? Feb 17 09:54:21 by saying: PREFERRED_VERSION_qt4-embedded = "4.7.1" in your conf file Feb 17 09:54:33 oops6_4: don't think so, as I don't know what it is:P Feb 17 09:55:19 mertsas: thanks :) Feb 17 09:57:47 no problem Feb 17 10:19:01 morning all Feb 17 10:19:27 mornin Feb 17 10:19:29 morning Feb 17 10:27:49 mertsas: one wired issue now that I figure out which .bb has PROVIDES and one of them is qt4-embedded i am using that in my recipe but error which I get says Nothing RPROVIDES 'qt4' but I am expecting qt4-embedded why ? Feb 17 10:28:07 what are the big differences between using busybox and coreutils-gnu? what are provided in one which is not provided in another etc? Feb 17 10:29:27 oops6_4: my guess is that the recipe is cached. Increase/Add PR = "rX" in your recipe. X is a number Feb 17 10:29:46 will guess that will help Feb 17 10:29:57 mertsas: thanks Feb 17 10:38:21 hi all Feb 17 10:44:08 hi pb_, all Feb 17 11:27:15 When starting up my system now, I get: hostname: invalid option -- 'I', where is hostname called from when using busyboz? Feb 17 11:27:21 busybox* Feb 17 11:27:28 morning Feb 17 12:03:13 hello. is it possible in oe-core to include (or require) files from a recipe cross-layer. say i want to define a new machine in my layer and include omap3.inc from meta-ti, and the same for x-load.inc and u-boot.inc Feb 17 12:03:16 ? Feb 17 12:05:54 CMoH-notebook: yes, you just need to use a path that starts at the root of the layer for the include Feb 17 12:07:29 bluelightning, thanks - trying now Feb 17 12:07:36 so I think it would be something like "require conf/machine/include/omap3.inc" Feb 17 12:08:25 yes - i'm porting the recipes from oe-classic where all recipes were in "recipes" to oe-core, where x-load and such are in "recipes-bsp", and i missed that Feb 17 12:08:36 the omap3.inc include was working Feb 17 12:08:47 but i missed that as well :) Feb 17 12:11:08 CMoH-notebook: ok... if you come across any issues that aren't noted in the wiki page it would be great if you could let me know so I can extend it: http://www.openembedded.org/wiki/Migrating_metadata_to_OE-Core Feb 17 12:12:55 thanks, bluelightning - your link is quite helpful Feb 17 13:38:53 otavio, hi Feb 17 13:53:38 CMoH: What device/recipes are you migrating over? (The OMAP3 peeked my interest) Feb 17 15:45:24 hi :) Feb 18 00:27:55 Hey guys, I'm not getting any response in #angstrom so I'm going to ask here... I grabbed the master oe branch and I'm trying to build the angstrom-2010.x base-image. Right now bitbake is downloading some software (currently eglibc) from angstrom-distribution.org, and it is *excruciatingly slow* Feb 18 00:28:06 like 15K/s Feb 18 00:30:06 Grackle: in sources/meta-angstrom/conf/distro/include/angstrom.inc, comment out INHERIT += "angstrom-mirrors" to stop using angstrom-mirrors Feb 18 00:30:10 I saw some stuff about "SOURCE_MIRROR_URL" and I changed it to "mirrors.openembedded.org," which is supposed to be a DNS round-robin that points to various mirrors. If I do 'host mirrors.openembedded.org', I see a source mirror that's not angstrom-distribution.org (linuxtogo.org), but when I go back to bitbaking (even after cleaning the package eglibc), it still downloads from angstrom... Feb 18 00:30:24 Thank you so much, eric. :) Feb 18 00:35:28 ahh that worked wonderfully Feb 18 02:16:30 Is freedesktop.org down? Feb 18 02:17:14 ah it does seem to be. :X **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Feb 18 02:59:58 2012
