Feb 22 08:44:00 good morning Feb 22 08:44:12 hi mckoan Feb 22 08:48:03 hi all Feb 22 09:07:03 hi hrw Feb 22 09:51:20 morning all Feb 22 10:06:54 hi bluelightning Feb 22 10:07:08 hey woglinde Feb 22 11:39:06 hi all Feb 22 11:44:15 hi pb_ Feb 22 12:09:27 hi bluelightning Feb 22 12:12:41 hi pb Feb 22 13:57:08 hi woglinde Feb 22 18:53:53 Hi, we are working on a builder that will remove TMPDIR from time to time. How do you handle recipes that have version determined by SRCREV? IIUC, localcount is stored somewhere in TMPDIR, so it would be removed when TMPDIR is removed, but would still be referenced in buildhistory. Next time something is built, TMPDIR would be started from scratch and localcount would be reset. In this case, buildhistory would report that the Feb 22 18:53:54 packages that rely on localcount have been downgraded. Right? Is there any workaround to avoid those "downgrades" in buildhistory? Feb 22 18:57:36 mario-goulart: set PERSISTENT_DIR variable outside TMPDIR Feb 22 18:57:44 to point outside TMPDIR Feb 22 18:58:20 or you can copy cache/persistent*sqlite back and forth Feb 22 19:03:08 Thanks JaMa|Off. Do you use any of those approaches? Feb 22 19:12:47 i put PERSISTENT_DIR relative to TOPDIR, next to the sstate cache and DL_DIR, myself Feb 22 19:14:23 I do the same Feb 22 19:15:08 but I also backup peristent*sqlite from time to time, just in case official builder for binari feed dies Feb 22 19:16:12 Thanks kergoth and JaMa|Off. Feb 22 19:24:13 someone should send patch to move the default value, with PR service it's even more important **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Feb 23 02:59:58 2013
