Is this policy documented somewhere? Basically something that says what is allowed to be merged and not. Or perhaps this is considered collectively in the emailinglists? Dec 17 08:40:40 hi mago_ Dec 17 08:41:06 mago_: all we have really in the way of documentation in that regard at the moment is here: https://wiki.yoctoproject.org/wiki/Stable_branch_maintenance Dec 17 09:09:32 good morning Dec 17 09:13:00 hi mckoan Dec 17 09:17:35 hi woglinde, all Dec 17 09:22:03 hi mckoan Dec 17 12:53:37 so, i tried compiling a program using an external toolchain and then run it on my OE-based device. It failed to load shared library libgcc_s.so.1. So I probably need to add some additional packages to my image to support this. What is the appropriate package here? gcc-runtime or libgcc? I tried adding "gcc-runtime" to my IMAGE_INSTALL, but then the do_rootfs-task fails with no apparent error (other than that Dec 17 12:53:39 gcc-runtime failed to install). What gives? Dec 17 12:54:08 i understand the recipes correctly, gcc-runtime is gcc, g++ and libgcc for target? Dec 17 15:01:11 our FOSDEM stand was accepted \o/ Dec 17 15:01:16 Crofton|work: ^ Dec 17 15:01:29 thanks! Dec 17 16:06:45 ndec: with your image-in-an-image-concept (image-A.bb depends on image-B.bb:do_rootfs and then installs file using a IMAGE_PREPROCESS_COMMAND), have you had issues where image-A doesn't detect that image-B files has been updated? Dec 17 16:08:24 mago_: i haven't used that extensively. so i cannot really say too much about that. Dec 17 19:09:45 woglinde: Hello Dec 17 19:10:09 woglinde: can you contact github and ask them to setup a mirror from git.y.org meta-java tree? Dec 17 19:10:59 bluelightning: can you update layer index accordingly? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Thu Dec 18 02:59:58 2014
