**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun May 15 02:59:58 2016 May 15 23:29:14 Is there a usual way to get ptests to work on read-only-rootfs? From the (very) few run-ptests that I've looked at, it seems the current practice is to unpack/modify directly in the /usr/lib/$pkg/ptest/ dir. May 15 23:31:35 (or at least modify/unpack into $CWD, which is currently also required to be /usr/lib/$pkg/ptest/ afaics) May 16 00:51:09 gus: I don't believe that's expected to work, no May 16 00:52:22 Pity - one of the principal things I'm interested in testing is whether the package works correctly with a read-only rootfs :/ May 16 01:04:53 with ptest we are simply executing the tests supplied by upstream... I doubt that most of those are written with the expectation that the rootfs is read-only **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon May 16 02:59:59 2016
