**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Mon Feb 27 03:00:01 2017 Feb 27 08:51:57 good morning Feb 27 08:55:55 morning Feb 27 09:32:13 anyone know why meta-virtualization carries its own version of Golang (when there's a separate meta-golang)? Feb 27 10:07:47 Hello All, I am trying to compile the Mariadb 10.1.21 using the cross-compile in Yocto. During the compilation of the mariadb its failed with the error says "make[2]: *** No rule to make target sql/gen_lex_hash', needed by 'sql/lex_hash.h'. Stop." The manual compilation just worked fine but cross-compile doesn't. I am using Fedora-24 as my host system. Any hint or a quick help will be very helpful. Feb 27 19:09:07 mago1: it was discussed on the mailing list recently - I believe there is tentative agreement to merge it down to one place (possibly OE-Core) Feb 27 19:18:58 mago1, patches are on the mailng to move go to core Feb 27 19:22:45 ah, missed those Feb 27 19:34:09 not surprising :) Feb 27 19:38:45 Is there a reason TOPDIR isn't in BB_HASHBASE_WHITELIST? Feb 27 19:41:51 georgem: there is - you're not meant to set TOPDIR, bitbake sets it internally Feb 27 19:42:00 that should probably be explicitly documented Feb 27 19:42:17 bluelightning, I'm not setting TOPDIR but it's not whitelisted so... Feb 27 19:42:26 I have my DEPLOY_DIR set outside of TMPDIR using TOPDIR and it causes sstate-cache to be worthless between builds Feb 27 19:42:40 oh right, I see Feb 27 19:42:45 sorry I misread Feb 27 19:42:57 that does sound like something we've missed Feb 27 19:43:34 would you mind filing a bug? Feb 27 19:44:25 I'll do it Feb 27 19:45:39 Let me confirm the behavior with poky first just to make sure I haven't screwed up something else to cause this to happen Feb 27 19:46:45 thanks Feb 27 20:16:19 okay, bug filed. https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11110 Feb 27 20:19:17 * Crofton|work grumbles, such sdk headaches **** ENDING LOGGING AT Tue Feb 28 03:00:00 2017
