**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Oct 17 03:00:02 2017 Oct 17 05:15:21 Hey guys, I recently started switching my from Arago to OpenEmbedded and I found myself in a big problem. I currently have three sysroots, one for host, one for my arm architecture and one for my custom machine. Some of my machine's programs require dependencies from the arm sysroot. Is there a way to unify them into one or is there a flag that will get me the second sysroot? Wanted to to specify both sysroots for GCC but I only found the Oct 17 05:21:36 Vertex: Arago is an OpenEmbedded distro! Oct 17 05:22:27 saying "switching from Arago to OpenEmbedded" is like saying "switching from Ubuntu to Linux"... Oct 17 05:24:34 re: sysroots - that's how they are structured by default - host, arch, mach Oct 17 05:43:53 mentioned that since it's obsolete and a bit different, at least the 2011 I was working with Oct 17 05:44:58 read somewhere in the manuals that there should only be two - host and arch but ok, I am used to this concept from Arago as well. So how do I get stuff from mach to link/incl arch sysroot? In Arago this worked automagically Oct 17 05:45:59 the 2011 version* Oct 17 05:47:45 please stop dragging Arago name through the mud - the 2011 version you speak of is OpenEmbedded Classic version, while current one is OpenEmbedded Core version Oct 17 05:52:35 e: sysroots, in most cases linking to the correct stuff is also done automatically. sometimes you may need to specify one of the STAGIND_* vars in the recipe to include/link from... Oct 17 05:53:02 STAGING_* Oct 17 05:55:44 Sorry for that didn't mean to offend anyone. STAGIN_LIBDIR/INCDIR would point to mach, what points to the arch sysroot? Oct 17 07:33:47 that's why i had journalctl running Oct 17 07:33:51 ups Oct 17 07:33:57 wrong channel :-D Oct 17 14:46:13 hello everyone, would you know when this patch, hereafter should be mergé in pyro?
