I redeclared the MACHINE variable and sourced setup-environment.sh, but then Apr 19 17:10:31 bitbake seemed to start all over again. How can I reboot with needing to start the build all over again? Apr 19 17:15:15 On the other hand, I was at 13% before I shut down Apr 19 18:59:02 bitbake doesn't start over at all, it always picks up where it left off unless you clean something yourself or remove tmpdir, or you've updated your layers, in which case it'll automatically rebuild what changed.
