**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Thu May 19 02:59:58 2011 May 19 07:24:18 Hi,Does anyone know how to get my own phone number(MSISDN number)? I tried to read the MSISDN number(SubscriberNumbers) from SimManager on n900, nothing returned and I also can not set the MSISDN number. May 19 08:23:49 gaojinl: on a generic level (I don't know much about ofono), there is no standard for getting this. Some operators provide a USSD command to get it, for instance Vodafone-UK uses *#100#, others send a free SMS to retreive it. There is also a special SIM phonebook location that can hold the value, but it has to be populated somehow initially May 19 08:46:18 calypsoscomforts: Thanks. I want to write a script to test the function of send/receive sms to self. I'll try to find other ways. but still, thanks:) May 19 08:49:44 gaojinl: you might like to try python-messaging for encoding/decoding at the other end (I have to declare an interest here, I'ma developer of it) May 19 08:50:38 or are you just sending to yourself? May 19 09:00:37 gaojinl: if you can not set the MSISDN number, it's probably because the MSISDN file is not present on SIM (this file is not mandatory). I suggest to try with another SIM/USIM. May 19 22:49:24 denkenz, holtmann: do you have some idea about how many networks support voicemail with detailed notifications of sender phone number, etc.? May 19 22:49:47 phone number, time stamp.. May 19 22:50:49 Probably 0? May 19 22:51:10 okay, i wasn't sure **** ENDING LOGGING AT Fri May 20 03:00:00 2011
