**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Jul 07 03:00:06 2009 Jul 07 04:09:45 DocScrutinizer i think they tried this on gta02 too first. but thats too slow because you need to bitbang the io quite fast with precise timing (not possible by timing constraints imposed by i2c to the pmu afaik) Jul 07 04:10:32 so gta01-iusers would need another gpio wired there.. e.g. the one on the debug-pins Jul 07 04:12:07 then the same code as on gta02 can be used (fiq) just with another gpio. prolly would need to remove the one resistor the the pmu for the ntc then. so add one pullup and a wire, add a series resistor for protecting the cpu, remove another series-resistor to the pmu on the pcb. Jul 07 04:12:22 roh: yes, timing is the main issue. I'd like to calculate this by myself eventually maybe. First I had to read the bq-doc Jul 07 04:13:46 roh: sure we could probably do that hw-rework, but I wonder who would actually get involved in this effort
