May 03 10:12:17 <lide> serial console to NOR u-boot is working now.  I had to connect Neo to usb 2.0 and the debug board to usb 3.0.  I also re-flashed NAND u-boot, but I don't see how that would affect it.  so now I've flashed u-boot, kernel and rootfs in NAND but on boot it complains about not finding uImage.bin
May 03 10:14:45 <lide> I'm pretty sure I'm missing something.  it's a Debian rootfs and I had a separate boot partition on the sd to load the kernel image from, not sure how to adapt it for NAND.

May 03 10:46:02 <lide> apparently [older] u-boot can't load kernels with size>2MB.  I can't figure out how to get into NAND u-boot menu.  I got there by accident earlier.  wiki/google doesn't seem like my friend here...
May 03 11:43:00 <PaulFertser> lide: after you flash nand you boot you just power the device off, then press power button, then nand uboot presents its menu, you can press aux to avoid timeout.
