**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sun Apr 28 02:59:58 2013 Apr 28 12:44:05 Hey there. I've installed Ubuntu 12.10 on my BeagleBone, with ARMv7 CPU. I'm trying to install some packages, which complain about the lack of gcc. I've tried installing 'gcc-4.6-arm-linux-gnueabi-base' and 'gcc-4.5' packages, but the gcc binary is still not present. Do I just need to create symlink from the gcc-4.5 binary ? Apr 28 13:17:06 narcos: 'apt-get install gcc' will be enough Apr 28 13:17:33 hrw: That didn't seem to work, I found the answer with 'apt-get install build-essential' Apr 28 13:28:13 narcos: both are fine Apr 28 13:28:40 ok :) Apr 28 13:28:42 ta **** ENDING LOGGING AT Mon Apr 29 02:59:58 2013
