**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Jan 29 02:59:58 2014 Jan 29 23:06:44 I'm getting USB buffer underruns on 3.4 which I have to stick with due to the old binary video drivers available for the Pandaboard. The buffer underruns disappear if the system is under load such as when compiling a kernel. I have CONFIG_CPU_FREQ=n, CONFIG_CPU_IDLE=n, and acpi=off. Where else should I look to fix this? Jan 29 23:20:00 grant___, do you get a stack trace or anything? Jan 29 23:21:19 lilstevie: I just get these: "ehci-omap.0: detected DataBufferErr" Jan 29 23:21:44 and audible gaps in music streaming via jackd over the ethernet interface which goes over USB Jan 29 23:22:12 grant___, I would probably file a bug against the kernel package :) Jan 29 23:22:42 it's fixed in newer kernels but I have to stick with the old one for video Jan 29 23:25:59 you could backport the fix Jan 29 23:37:46 lilstevie: how could I figure out where the fix is? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Thu Jan 30 02:59:58 2014
