Dec 19 23:30:11 <madnificent> fwiw, the pre and pre2 had the perfect form factor for my needs.  a higher resolution (within the same screen size) could be nice, but the size shouldn't be changed by a gazilionth of a millimeter for my preference.  i'd also find it absolutely dreadful to receive a device without the briliant keyboard the pre2 had.  i'm now going for the veer, hopefully my hands and eyes will accept it.
