**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Jun 03 02:59:57 2020 Jun 03 07:27:51 Morning! Jun 03 07:27:55 JaMa: Seemed the download Jun 03 07:28:30 Now switched back to 2666Mhz to see if more stable. Getting freezes on 2933 it seems Jun 03 07:28:42 Though I didn't play much with bios settings yet Jun 03 08:40:56 Morning! Jun 03 11:33:04 JaMa: Also this new kit isn't that great... Still getting errors on 2666 with 8 installed. Now testing them seperately with 4 modules and then later down to 2 and 1 to see if I managed to somehow get again a single faulty module.... Jun 03 11:33:27 Timings on 2666 were pretty relaxed, not pushing anything, still getting errors in Memtest Jun 03 11:33:52 Tried to up the voltage a bit from 1.35 to 1.36 like suggested in DRAM calculator, not a lot of help Jun 03 11:34:14 I didn't try them at lower speeds yet, will first test the modules like this to make sure they individually are fine Jun 03 11:52:17 * BT40 waves hand to biggies :) Jun 03 12:20:15 BT40: Hi! Jun 03 12:22:40 is there any separate channel for app development in luneos project? Asking as this channel particularly emphasis on ports (WEBOS-PORTS) Jun 03 12:32:36 You can ask here ;) Jun 03 12:32:47 There's #webos and #enyojs but more active here Jun 03 12:49:45 GREAT Jun 03 12:52:49 Boring question, but can I create apps using python as coding language plus GTK as graphical library? Already familiar with python and java. Since java might not be supported due to JRE absence, only existing option is python. Otherwise I might have to learn enyo from scratch. Jun 03 12:53:43 If somehow python is supported, i can start creating as soon as from next week. Jun 03 12:53:57 With enyo, it might take some more time to grasp Jun 03 13:07:58 Enyo = JS framework Jun 03 13:08:20 python I'm not sure, never tried, pretty sure we do supply it somewhere since we're pretty standard linux Jun 03 13:08:26 Or it's easy to include at least Jun 03 13:09:12 GTK probably not. I'm not very familia with GTK and how it hooks to OS etc Jun 03 13:09:21 Tofe might know a few things about it Jun 03 13:24:58 BT40: Lots of services are written in NodeJS as well Jun 03 14:37:22 I'm not that fond of introducing GTK into our distribution Jun 03 16:40:21 Tofe: Already figured something like that ;) Jun 03 16:41:28 JaMa: Seems it was user error... While swapping my 2 RAM kits I somehow managed to get my broken Hynix module in the mix.... I tracked it down to a faulty module, then I checked and saw v 5.38 vs 4.31. Seems that I had 1 old module in my new setup mixed somehow :S Jun 03 16:41:50 Found the correct module in the box that I had already prepared to ship back and re-testing now.... Jun 03 16:42:03 It posts fine @ 2933 with standard XMP settings, so running Memtest now Jun 03 17:28:59 So far running for about an hour without any errors, so hopefully all good Jun 03 19:21:01 OK after 2 hrs, got 2 bits flipped @ 2933. Which isn't too bad, will probably run 2666 overnight and see what I get there Jun 03 19:26:35 JaMa: Also get some funny errors with the ./test.sh: tee: 1-init.log: Permission denied Jun 03 19:26:51 It disappears when I run it as sudo, but bitbake doesn't like that ;) Jun 03 20:14:03 JaMa: OK figured out the logging issue... I guess I ran it as sudo once and now it doesn't want to edit/overwrite it. Just deleted it Jun 03 20:20:19 JaMa: Getting these fetching errors: https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/68jHjTpBmR/ Jun 03 20:20:26 Seems similar to yesterday, could be they moved? Jun 03 22:33:16 Herrie: failed: Temporary failure in name resolution. looks like an issue in your network/configuration **** ENDING LOGGING AT Thu Jun 04 03:06:17 2020
