**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Mon Apr 15 02:59:57 2019 Apr 15 09:38:45 New news from stackoverflow: Building keras and tensor flow on yocto Apr 15 11:00:58 'boost can jump off a cliff right now' is still true Apr 15 11:01:38 the new version has a significant regression in do_install where bjam is like 50 times slower than before, spings the cpu at 100%, and I can't see why Apr 15 11:02:05 kanavin: ouch :( Apr 15 11:05:31 RP: I guess I'll wait and see what the desktop distros do, boost-native has the problem too, so it's likely they'll run into it Apr 15 11:06:30 kanavin: just noticed your upgrades, I guess I was a bit too keen to run a test build Apr 15 11:06:43 * RP ponders how I get a break with what seems like a continuous development cycle Apr 15 11:07:02 RP: yeah, I actually was hesitating to send them for that reason Apr 15 11:07:28 (meaning, I too think you could benefit from a break at this point :) Apr 15 11:08:56 kanavin: I guess my break is not having the release stress around Apr 15 12:39:16 New news from stackoverflow: populate_sdk fails when multilib enabled Apr 15 13:32:48 armpit: think the log is fixed. I suspect it had just gotten too large Apr 15 14:05:37 RP, hehe as new test (wikilogTest) Apr 15 14:09:32 New news from stackoverflow: Adding multiple patches to SRC_URI in a recipe -- Yocto Apr 15 14:57:02 On thud, when using uninative and the yocto sstate mirror, and having already built my recipe, is it correct that "bitbake -Sprintdiff" mentions that the build will start with all the native recipes, although they have already been downloaded via sstate mirror ? Apr 15 15:17:17 kroon: it doesn't sound right Apr 15 15:20:20 RP, hmm ok Apr 15 15:20:42 kroon: the native sstate should have the same hash whether it comes from uninative or not Apr 15 15:20:56 its just stored in a different sstate directory Apr 15 15:25:59 RP, ok, i'll see if I can track it down later Apr 15 15:28:24 when doing a multiconfig, is there a variable that has the target image, e.g. core-image-minimal? Apr 15 15:31:09 pebenito: that doesn't really make sense since you could have "bitbake X Y Z" Apr 15 15:39:19 RP: makes sense. thanks Apr 15 15:44:30 Does anyone still use the external Linaro toolchain these days? Looks broken on thud at least Apr 15 16:15:59 denix: I'm getting a "No space left on device" bounce when trying to email meta-arago@arago-project.org. Is this your domain? Apr 15 17:42:22 <_kevin_p_> Hello, I have a recipe question if someone has the time to assist me. meta-oe has a doxygen recipe that I'd like to use. In my recipe I added "doxygen-native" to the DEPENDS variable and I've added a custom task "do_gen_docs" that I've setup to take place after do_config but before do_compile. At this point I just need to fill in the body of my do_gen_docs function, but it seems I can't just invoke doxygen - when I do, I get an erro Apr 15 18:11:25 _kevin_p_: what's the err? **** BEGIN LOGGING AT Mon Apr 15 18:57:47 2019 Apr 15 18:59:39 <_kevin_p_> laplante: much appreciated Apr 15 19:00:08 _kevin_p_: np Apr 15 19:13:22 JPEW: step one, see which is listed in the layer index. step two, check the readme, see if the url is listed there in the contribution instructions — it usually is Apr 15 19:13:32 haven't looked at that layer specifically, though Apr 15 19:15:24 kergoth: Thanks. Layer index says git.yoctoproject.org, README says to submit changes via github PRs.... *shrugs* Apr 15 19:15:41 sounds like git.yoctoproject.org is the mirror, but development is done at github Apr 15 19:16:01 * kergoth shrugs also Apr 15 19:47:36 JPEW: github I strongly suspect and YP is mirroring Apr 15 19:57:58 Anyone aware of an existing Yocto project or distro w/ Qt5/GLES2/Intel graphics? Apr 15 21:43:04 how do i initiate the process of submitting an updated recipe to oe? Apr 15 21:43:41 (wxWidgets 3.0.4) Apr 15 21:46:19 what layer is it in? What does the layer README say about contributions **** ENDING LOGGING AT Tue Apr 16 02:59:57 2019
