Jan 24 09:51:03 I'm trying to use DISTRO = "angstrom-2008.1" Jan 24 09:51:19 is it ok? Jan 24 12:59:15 I am running angstrom on my H2210 ipaq Jan 24 12:59:25 strange issue with navit: Jan 24 12:59:41 when I tap to use the internal keyboard Jan 24 12:59:54 to type something while running navit and it's in the 'town entry' screen Jan 24 13:00:10 the startup of the keyboard causes navit to return to the main menu. Jan 24 13:00:17 (as if escape or whatever was typed) Jan 24 13:00:26 anybody know why? Jan 24 13:05:01 valhalla: unfortunately "angstrom-2008.1" seems broken with x86 Jan 24 13:05:20 NOTE: Tasks Summary: Attempted 3564 tasks of which 0 didn't need to be rerun and 1 failed. Jan 24 13:05:24 ERROR: '/home/koan/devel/openembedded/packages/linux/linux_2.6.21.bb' failed Jan 24 13:06:41 I don't understand why there is such error, anybody successfully built "angstrom-2008.1" with x86 ? Jan 24 13:08:05 i often build it for x86 Jan 24 13:08:44 valhalla: afre you using linux_2.6.21.bb too? Jan 24 13:08:58 s/afree/are Jan 24 13:09:37 i don't know, my latest build was for i586 Jan 24 13:09:44 got to leave now, i'll check later Jan 24 13:15:47 valhalla: I'm trying with i586-generic now, BTW what are main diffs vs. x86 ? Jan 24 14:59:23 hi, I know this is probably a common problem but although I can find some pages of people reporting similar behaviours I can't find a solution. I'm new to OE builds, and I'm using gentoo as the host system. My problem is to do with the autoconf versions being used that no longer supports the option `--exclude=libtoolize'. Hoe can I change what version of automake is being used when building... Jan 24 14:59:26 ...angstrom and what version should it be using. Thanks for any help. Jan 24 23:42:08 hi, I just finished building a base-image. However I'm slightly confused how do I go about creating a custom image (selecting which packages to include in an image, costumizing kernel options, added specific kernel modules, etc..). Can anyone point me to some docs that explain these topics? Jan 25 02:35:53 Crofton|work: But it's Saturday :) Jan 25 02:36:14 heh Jan 25 02:36:24 that is the nick for irc on this machine Jan 25 02:46:59 Hello. I am having some issues getting Angstrom installed on my collie. Can anyone help? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Jan 25 02:59:58 2009
