Dec 28 20:19:48 Hi, Im completely new to Angstrom (as of like 2 hours ago). All of our senior engineers are out for the day, and I am stuck on a project - I was hoping someone might help >.<. Dec 28 20:20:19 Im trying to install a python library called "reportlab" but I keep getting an error that says stdio.h cannot be found. Dec 28 20:20:50 Im not a c programmer by trade, and wouldn't even know where to begin. But can anyone help me figure out how to get reportlab (python library) installed? Dec 28 20:25:55 jNam, are you sure you are using Angstrom? Dec 28 20:26:57 what machine are you tryin gto install it on Dec 28 21:18:51 Crofton|work, yeah Im pretty sure I am using Angrstrom. Angstrom is being installed on a proprietary device that my company makes, not something that is main-stream Dec 28 21:20:39 I am not familiar with reportlab Dec 28 21:21:02 you are probably best of waiting for the people that know what they are doing :) Dec 28 21:22:44 well, I dont think this is reportlab specific. I think it's angstrom build specific. You can replace 'reportlab' with any library you want, Im stil getting the "you dont have the proper c headers installed' error. >.> Dec 28 21:22:49 /etc/angstrom-version /etc/angstrom-version.last /etc/version Dec 28 21:22:57 thats my /etc/*version* Dec 28 21:25:04 It is very likely that the people that built the file system did not expect you to try and build stuff on it Dec 28 21:25:16 no dev packages Dec 29 02:32:45 hmm, I tried to run a debian armel chroot on a intel xscale Dec 29 02:32:49 getting segfault Dec 29 02:33:30 anyone what that problem could be? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sat Dec 29 02:59:58 2012
