**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Wed Apr 24 02:59:58 2013 Apr 24 04:42:19 greetings. I could use a pointer or two. I'm not sure what information to give you all in advance so please bear with me, but I'm trying to build a few libraries from source and then link them into a larger project, and I'm trying to use a vm with angstrom to cross compile to target. Once I compile the libraries and link, i get an error that one of the libraries is being ignored as it is incompatible. Objdump tells me that the Apr 24 04:42:45 while the others are elf32-little Apr 24 04:43:37 i passed the exact same $TARGET_SYS var to each project's makefile for compilation and linking, so I don't understand how one project decides to compile to a different target Apr 24 04:44:42 as for legwork, I can see the paths that the final link step is using to find the offending libraries, so I know it is trying to use the libraries I made, I've cleaned and recompilied and can guarantee that I'm trying to link with files I've recently built Apr 24 04:45:33 I've been looking on the angstrom website for examples for using angstrom, not necessarily standing up a toolchain with it Apr 24 04:46:35 the toolchain is vendor supplied, so I'm almost certain there aren't any problems stemming from incorrect staundup done by a newbie (me) or in otherwords I didn't stand up angstrom from scratch, some other professionals did Apr 24 04:47:09 so I'm wondering what are some things I can look at to help me figure out what's going on? Apr 24 06:01:25 copy pasta. ffUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. Apr 24 16:57:20 :qa Apr 24 16:57:23 :qa Apr 24 16:57:26 oops **** ENDING LOGGING AT Thu Apr 25 02:59:59 2013
