I can not however figure out what is causing it to mount my filesystem as read only. Would this be due to me not having a uEnv.txt in the boot partition? I noticed when booting that it did mention that missing file

Sep 22 19:57:14 <embedded_kyle> mistawright: Welcome. It's touchy. Sometimes there are errors and it mounts ro and sometimes it's fine. Sometimes it needs an fsck and sometimes not. Sometimes I even have to pull the microsd and put it back in again. Just a few things to keep in mind if it happens again.
