I've flashed my BBB with the newest console image (debian-7.7-console-armhf-2014-10-29) and am working on upgrading it to Jessie. I did an update/upgrade as Wheezy, changed sources.list to point to Jessie repos, did an update/upgrade, kernel upgrade with the script in /opt/scripts/tools, rebooted, and am now trying to complete with an apt-get dist-upgrade, but udev's install script appears stuck. Paste of the Jan 01 18:12:07 dist-upgrade here: http://pastebin.com/gRvivFdj Jan 01 18:39:08 Aha, found the fix for the udev post-inst script problem, documented in this bug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=774153 Jan 01 22:06:20 ddos complete Jan 01 23:43:42 I'm trying to make a power supply for a BBB using 4 D batteries (about 6V) and a voltage regulator to bring it down to 5V. I'm measuring 5.08V out of the regulator. Is that probably ok? Is there a rule of thumb for these things?
