I was able to connect to it via usb network and ssh, so it works fine. But I wanted to update debian to buster. So I downloaded an image to an sd card and flashed the board built in memory. It seems to have worked, but now I don't get an ip when I dhcp on the beagle's usb network interface. Aug 31 17:01:02 I downloaded the "console" image as I don't need a GUI. I wonder if that might be the cause (no dhcp server enabled on the board) Aug 31 17:01:35 Does this image has a static ip I might try? Or is it another problem? Aug 31 17:48:05 If I set an IP address manually on the USB network interface, I can ping 192.168.6.2 which seems to be the default IP address, but I cannot SSH to it, the SSH server seems to be not enabled. Aug 31 18:07:47 Nevermind, I just discovered that the beagle is also exposing a serial console on the usb port. Very nice little device. Aug 31 18:55:07 kuon: Hey! Aug 31 18:55:10 BBBW! Aug 31 18:55:22 How is the new kernel working for you? Aug 31 18:56:22 kuon: Just for notice, the BeagleBoard.org images that are listed on their site are the ones covered here. Aug 31 18:56:22 ... Aug 31 18:56:37 I think the people that pitch in only support those images. I am pretty sure. Aug 31 18:58:13 These are the testing images: https://elinux.org/Beagleboard:BeagleBoneBlack_Debian#Debian_Image_Testing_Snapshots. Aug 31 19:00:29 bbb.io/latest-images are the images supported. The top two in blue esp. are the top supported images. Aug 31 19:02:03 Hey! Aug 31 19:02:18 I see someone put in a flasher image on the /latest-images page online on the site! Aug 31 19:02:27 Whoot, whoot! Sep 01 01:02:34 Aye, are there any good cameras compatible with BBs? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Sep 01 02:59:57 2019
