**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Thu Jul 19 02:59:58 2012 Jul 19 10:19:16 Hi blathijs: You know I don't have SVN access, right? :) Jul 19 10:24:31 JonTheNiceGuy: Yes, but if you don't svn add, svn diff won't include the files :-) Jul 19 10:33:53 JonTheNiceGuy: Turns out the luci changes needed were a bit more complicated than I had anticipated, but I think I got everything needed now Jul 19 10:34:43 Btw, here's a useful command to copy all the stuff needed to your Fonera: Jul 19 10:34:44 luci/applications/luci-openvpn/luasrc$ scp -r * 192.168.1.252:/usr/lib/lua/luci/ Jul 19 10:47:52 Ah, I use Git for everything now - so I did git diff which typically will include the files which are absent. Jul 19 10:48:01 Unless I missed something critical :) Jul 19 10:50:36 Ahhhhh I see what you mean no! Jul 19 10:50:38 now even Jul 19 10:50:43 D'oh Jul 19 10:50:52 You mean you wrote a patch which you've included on the ticket. Jul 19 10:50:54 LOL Jul 19 10:51:11 Stupid Jon :D Jul 19 10:51:29 :-) Jul 19 10:52:20 Btw, feel free to generate the final patch using git format-patch, I also do my work using git-svn here, so that would be easy to apply for me :-) Jul 19 10:54:15 I'll crack on with that on my lunch break - might not get the patch in until tonight. Jul 19 10:54:22 I see what you mean about that luci change! Jul 19 10:54:24 wow. Jul 19 10:59:04 cool Jul 19 10:59:31 I'll be away most of tomorrow and the weekend, so I expect I won't be able to look at your patch until Tuesday or so Jul 19 11:00:30 Yehr, no worries. How long until the next release (beta or otherwise) comes out? Jul 19 11:03:58 I had guestimated a timeframe that would release an RC1 release at the end of this month, but it seems that will be tricky already Jul 19 11:04:18 I really want to fix most if not all of these: http://trac.fonosfera.org/fon-ng/query?status=infoneeded&status=confirmed&status=testing-fix&status=reopened&status=assigned&status=investigate&status=new&status=accepted&group=status&milestone=Firmware+2.3.7.0 Jul 19 11:12:53 Well, that's just screwed me getting anything done today - my home server is down... I can't jump on it until I get home tonight. Jul 19 11:13:17 Hmm, sucky Jul 19 11:14:09 Power problems? Jul 19 11:16:20 I have intermittent issues where the DHCP from my ISP doesn't update the FON properly. I used to "resolve" it by putting a timer switch on the Fon, even though I'm not convinced it's at the FON box, but a reset seems to solve it... and I've not had a chance to check into it since I pulled the timer out. Jul 19 11:17:30 I wrote a script to check the upstream DNS and default gateway, and if it can't see them, bounce the FON... Jul 19 11:17:54 It's worked in the past... but again, it's a cludge, so I don't know actually what's up. Jul 19 11:18:51 Or why it's not fixed it now. Jul 19 11:19:02 Probably my ISP is screwed :D Jul 19 12:05:51 Annoying Jul 19 12:20:35 To be fiar, it's a criticism a few people I know have levelled against the FON boxes, but I also had the same issue with DD-WRT and OpenWRT Jul 19 12:29:35 So, it's probably just linux based routers with british ISPs :) Jul 19 12:29:47 Must finish my sentences! **** ENDING LOGGING AT Fri Jul 20 02:59:59 2012
