**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Sat Nov 29 02:59:59 2014 Nov 29 14:47:59 hi guys, I'm feeling a bit stupid about this, but am having problems finding my web admin interface. Got a Fonera 2.0n on 2.3.8.0beta1 and its accidentally been switched into bridge mode after last reboot (several resets). Used to be in regular NAT'd with a 192.168.xxx.xxx mode (where xx is not the default 10 or 1 or whatever) but neither internal nor external can see it on any bridged IP. Where do I look, do I need to add a route for the old 192.16 Nov 29 14:47:59 8 too (not even sure whether/what the fonera has as its IP, otherwise it wouldnt be lost...) Nov 29 14:48:57 all wifi clients can use it fine with the existing settings but of course now have wan IP addresses not NAT'd ones. they can use internet fine but cabled connections seem to have some issues Nov 29 14:49:10 power LED flashes twice Nov 29 14:49:44 (and hi girls too if any here, oops soz to assume) Nov 29 14:50:59 and the FON_**** signal is no longer there. Nov 29 16:53:08 ah so rebooting without internet cable gets me the old standard IP address and web admin hurrah.. that should let me sort it Nov 29 16:54:00 thought that might be solution; but had been so long since I needed to mess with it (yay for fonera router stability!) I'd half forgotten if that was a solution... :) Nov 29 17:01:26 But I'm still curious how you get to the web admin UI when in "bridge" mode on 2.0n. Nov 29 17:02:39 Unless mine wasn't properly in bridge mode and was a bit broken (I believe I never clicked save with bridge mode selected in the admin before, just chose it in the dropdown and a while after that and possibly a browser restart with the same tab loaded, saved in the browser session); the fonera got rebooted several times by pulling the power out and back in, probably didnt do a full boot once or twice. Nov 29 17:03:09 then the next time it booted up and was in use, it had magically itself changed to bridge mode.. Nov 29 17:04:15 * breezer has a 2nd thing... Nov 29 17:06:02 My openvpn config seems broken on dev-firmware install of 2.0n since 2.3.7, is it meant to be? (I tried asking support by email a while before but reply wasnt that useful). Just permanently says "generating keys" for the existing clients I had setup and working at least once before in older versions, ages ago (no matter how long its left) Nov 29 17:07:13 am techy enough to ssh in and do linuxy admin (a bit) to help diagnose if anyone can help, but config files/other stuff seems a little different (at least, locations of) to regular linux openvpn. Nov 29 21:58:19 breezer: Just in case you check the channelog logs - I'm happy to help you out with your issues (not time right now to read everything, but feel free to poke me later) **** ENDING LOGGING AT Sun Nov 30 02:59:58 2014
