Apr 15 13:46:41 <depscribe[m]> SteveGoodey: MP actually tells us nothing. if you cram in 16mp without tripling the sensor size, all you've done is create a noise generator, after which apparent picture quality becomes a function of the noise-reduction software, which actually reduces the quality of the picture. i'd far rather have a full-frame 10mp sensor than a half-frame 20mp one.
