**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Feb 18 02:59:57 2020 Feb 18 06:46:38 Hrmm is there a way to have the cover screen on the Cosmo unlocked when the device itself has a password set? Having a physical keyboard means it'd be kindof silly *not* to have a password, but it's annoying to have the cover screen just perpetually saying "Locked; Open Cosmo to Continue". Feb 18 06:47:46 (Setting screenlock to on-body detection hilariously doesn't change the cover screen behaviour even though it then means I don't have to re-enter my password if I haven't set it down.) Feb 18 07:59:46 keithzg[m]: you could use the fingerprint sensor Feb 18 10:08:06 mifritscher: If only! I've tried my damndest but I can never get it trained on a finger reliably. Feb 18 17:27:38 TheKit: right, I kinda wonder how MTK would botch a modem up so badly, it's basically their core business Feb 18 17:28:19 TheKit: I wouldn't be surprised if there was a firmware for that modem IP which works, but PC probably doesn't bother with updates, so meh Feb 18 18:46:13 neat, my new keyboard came Feb 18 18:46:17 how on earth do I fit it Feb 18 18:47:26 this looks very involved Feb 18 18:47:55 I count 22 screw posts Feb 18 18:48:18 I assume that means I need to take the back off Feb 18 19:10:21 hm okay back comes off easy Feb 18 19:10:42 looks like I basically have to disassemble the thing though Feb 18 19:10:47 wooop de doooo Feb 18 19:11:11 start from the battery and work my way in Feb 18 22:26:00 dTal: Seems to have gone rather quiet. Hope it's going OK? Feb 18 22:27:37 I gave up and abandoned it till tomorrow :p Feb 18 22:31:01 dTal: That bad? But doable? Feb 18 22:35:17 keithzg[m]: its a bit pendant on the angle - I learned it with different angels Feb 18 22:53:41 mifritscher: Yeah I tried to flip it over and mimic how I'd do it when it was closed, maybe I should try again though **** ENDING LOGGING AT Wed Feb 19 02:59:57 2020
