Today I noticed that I when I wanted to download some missing stuff from Ovi store (launched via "Store" from the menu) I could do that for the free applications without any kind of login. Nice. It would be even nicer, if I could store the .deb packages that are downloaded by the application manager, so that I can reinstall the from the command line the next time.

There are programs which has a fair few dependencies if not more.. without installing them in the correct order produces errors and you can't simply apt-get them without running a local repos

Because the installation takes time, you can copy the .deb from that location during the install. I used the following one-liner to achieve that. It will try to copy any .deb file from that directory every second and will stop if it succeeded.
