Jan 07 03:12:19 Could probably fix it manually in gimp, but meh. Jan 07 05:47:49 Just had a thought, throwing it out there but going afk so won't reply for a bit/while: Why do we continue to build/install N900 packages in a way that obliterates man pages instead of optifying them? Even better, why can't I echo some value into a file that we as a community standardize that expresses that preference. E.g. '0' means delete/skip documentation as normal, '1' means install as ... Jan 07 05:47:55 ... normal (allowing me as a user to set up directory symlinks, partitions, etc, how I want)... The exact implementation doesn't matter, but it seems that that's a reasonable enough setup... and then have a separate user-friendly way (for those who don't want to do it manually on the command line) to optify the default documentation directory(/directories). Jan 07 05:48:56 I guess my question boils down to: is there something bad/flawed in that idea, and how can it be improved, or has it just not been implemented because no one's wanted to and had the ability/time at the same time?
