**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Thu Nov 12 02:59:58 2015 Nov 12 03:37:44 seriously, why does intltool from Extras repository try to use perl from /scratchbox directory ? Nov 12 05:50:03 accdisplay was more like i wanted than ameter. Can't remember who suggested it, but just for the hint for that someone if in need of more than just view features. First, Nosto does not exactly work; when I try to choose Nosto Wallpaper, it switches to Nokia wallpaper (somebody forgot to change a line somewhere). Second (and it's a problem with all "free" themes I tried: *rush, marina, nosto), the images are suspiciously default-alike. Isn't it an infringement of Nokia's copyright? Or were these images released by Nokia under free licence? Nov 12 21:00:02 seriously, this device is 6 year old Nov 12 21:01:55 Copyright can last up to 100 years, or even more, depending on laws and authors... Anyway, it's just curious Nov 12 21:02:03 also, those themes are user submitted packages Nov 12 21:02:19 if anyone asks, you can worry then Nov 12 21:59:48 Continuous backgrounds are challenging, especially if they are to support portrait, as well... Nov 12 22:05:39 Oksana: portrait can have it's own completely dfferent background Nov 12 22:08:24 Hmm... Nice to know Nov 12 22:28:22 I have a carbon fiber effect that doesn't matter if landscape or portrait etc. Nov 12 22:29:11 I would have liked to have photos which connect seamlessly in both directions, but it's nearly impossible. Nov 12 22:30:18 As it is, my eye was caught by https://www.flickr.com/photos/pinksherbet/4853010035 . Would be funny as portrait-oriented wallpapers, even if blurred-grass does not connect seamlessly with not-blurred grass... Nov 12 22:34:57 This one has potential as well, but alas, also only as portrait-oriented. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Salade_de_fraises.jpg Nov 12 22:35:17 hm Nov 12 22:39:37 Sicelo: so how to do it? I imagine that theme_bg.desktop should be edited? Nov 12 22:43:32 Or is it like two separate wallpapers (not landscape+portrait in one wallpaper, but landscape.desktop and portrait.desktop separately) ? Nov 12 22:45:38 dunno Nov 12 22:54:57 Files missing! Why weren't they attached to the post directly? http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=75399 /interested in desktop file, mainly/ Nov 12 23:05:12 Experimentation says that one theme can have only one desktop file, aka named theme_bg.desktop. So both landscape and portrait need to be put into one desktop file, somehow... Nov 12 23:05:45 i only have landscape mode and default themes Nov 12 23:15:35 I have know idea, I wouldn't even no if that is documented somewhere. Nov 12 23:17:06 I recall clock and HAM backgrounds having an xyz_portrait.png file somewhere, but I don't think it's related to wallpapers. Nov 12 23:26:25 Also, lockslider-portrait.png ;-) Nov 13 02:10:39 * Oksana does not know how to open a file in TuxPaint. I mean, drawing is nice and jolly, but where in magic is the "open a png" button? Nov 13 02:22:47 find with understanding of -printf : which package? I got cp with understanding of --remove-destination from coreutils-gnu (and yes, I had to modify $PATH to be able to see it) **** ENDING LOGGING AT Fri Nov 13 02:59:59 2015
