**** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Jan 22 02:59:56 2019 **** BEGIN LOGGING AT Tue Jan 22 07:44:59 2019 Jan 22 08:36:29 atk: iirc modrana(?) has a monav repository Jan 22 08:36:47 I'm not sure resulting files would be compatible with your monav version, but they might be Jan 22 08:37:16 I've always wanted to have a look at this for marble, but never actually got into i Jan 22 08:37:19 it Jan 22 14:12:40 https://soylentnews.org/article.pl?sid=19/01/21/042251 Jan 22 14:13:32 hmm, sixwheeledbeast beat me to it :-) Jan 22 16:52:23 hi Jan 22 16:52:37 is that appropriate to ask about Nokia N9 mmcblk flash here? Jan 22 16:53:02 seems like 16gb hynix flash chip is (half)dead... wondering if it's possible to "remap" it to use live area... Jan 22 16:53:59 You can try, I think most lurkers have N900s Jan 22 16:54:28 Don't know if #harmattan is still a thing? Jan 22 16:54:34 dmesg pours errors on any mmcblk0 access Jan 22 16:54:41 cat /proc/mtd Jan 22 16:54:42 dev: size erasesize name Jan 22 16:54:44 mtd0: 00100000 00040000 "bootloader" Jan 22 16:54:45 mtd1: 002c0000 00040000 "config" Jan 22 16:54:47 mtd2: 01000000 00040000 "kernel" Jan 22 16:54:48 mtd3: 00200000 00040000 "log" Jan 22 16:54:50 mtd4: 1ca40000 00040000 "var" Jan 22 16:54:51 mtd5: 02000000 00040000 "moslo" Jan 22 16:54:53 mtd6: 20000000 00040000 "omap2-onenand" Jan 22 16:54:54 but these partitions are alive Jan 22 16:55:02 I can 'dd' read them Jan 22 16:55:23 are they placed on the same 16gb nand chip? Jan 22 21:34:52 https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2019-3462 I assume affects Maemo? Jan 22 21:36:58 Seems to still undisclosed on CVE at the moment. Hmm Jan 22 21:37:38 Lets go Debian. https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2019-3462 Jan 22 21:46:15 Seems kind of moot when the repository doesn't even support SSL anyway. Jan 22 21:53:12 no apt uses secure protocols by default AFAIK. Jan 22 21:54:51 Ah right, it uses signatures. Jan 22 21:55:23 so the lack of SSL support makes that worse. Jan 22 23:00:50 Hello. Today I tried to connect my N900 to my BMW via bluetooth for making hands-free phone calls. I succeeded in connecting (after a few trials) and making a call with good quality, but when I hang up the BMW iDrive system hangs as well... the call is closed properly, but iDrive doesn't exit from the call mode, and eventually, after a couple of minutes, reboots (!). Jan 22 23:00:50 With my gf smartphone, a Wiko Jerry, I never encountered any problem. Jan 22 23:01:23 Did anybody face a similar issue? Once I heard from freemangordon that he owns a BMW as well. Jan 23 00:04:34 Or well, if nobody encountered this, however do you have any idea on how to troubleshoot? **** ENDING LOGGING AT Wed Jan 23 02:59:57 2019
