Metapackage would make sense for people with varying degrees of *nix knowledge that Nokia where looking for at the time. Nov 19 01:21:59 <DocScrutinizer05> playing videos is mainly a question of encoding/decoding (h.264(?) etc) where the hw support in N900 OMAP3 CPU is limited, of original resolution and (down)scaling. I know all this isn't exactly helpful info for you, but it may shed some light on what to look for
